Thursday morning rolled around and I was going crazy. There was a knock on the door and Buck answered
" Hey what's up "
" they don't have school today or tomorrow "
" We both have to work "
" but not Ruby "
Christopher walked in
" hey how are you "

I went over to the door
" don't worry I can watch him today I think I would have started painting the walls otherwise "

He handed me his backpack and they both left. I turned back to Christopher
" so no school "

" well that's fun "
I grabbed a drink and just kinda watched him watching TV. I grabbed my phone and called Buck
" Hey what's up I'm just about to work "
" what can we do "

I heard Eddie say and Buck let out a little laugh then said
" well I left the keys for the car "

" yeah umm you guys could go to the zoo "
" yeah yeah that sounds good "
I looked at Christopher and said
" want to go to the zoo "

He gat really excited
" ok Eddie said that he put some money in his bag "
" ok I'll just see you later then "

He hung up and we got in the car.

When we finally got in I grabbed a map and we started on our way. We were looking at the elephants

We quickly took a selfie with the elephants in the background and hit send

I got a big pretzel and he got some chips and cotton candy. He was doing one of the interactive things for kids and I was just watching. They got to touch a baby alligator and I took a video he had a big smile on his face

I looked to my right and there was the officer that took my statement

" sorry I get how this looks to you I'm here with my little sister and her friends no school and all "
I looked back at Chris and he was still smiling

" oh umm I wish I'm watching him for a friend "

He yelled and I quickly went over to him

He pointed at the next thing that was coming and it was a baby snake in a clear bin

After the guy passed

We were walking and I was listening to him talk about his favorite part then a woman hugged me out of nowhere and we stopped. I was a little stunned and she somehow hit my rib and she was crying

A man came over and pulled her away
" I'm so sorry "
" it's ok "
The woman calmed down a little and said
" thank you for bringing our Jake home "

I said and pulled her back in the hug and she broke down even further

She pulled away and said thank you and walked away
