When we got back to the apartment I got a text from Eddie
' I'll be off at 7 '
' ok Buck gets off then to right '
' yes '
I looked at the time and it was 4:15
" you hungry for a snack "
" yeah "
I looked in the bag and found some goldfish. After an hour or so we decided what to have for dinner and then I made a small list of the stuff we need to go get.
It was 6:30 when we got back and I quickly started to make the food. There was knock on the door I looked at the time and it was almost 8 I quickly went over and opened it
" hey "
I said and they came in and Eddie went straight over to Christopher and gave him a hug
" what smells so good "
" oh I was just about done making dinner "
I went back to the kitchen and Buck went upstairs they were making there way to the door
" you are staying right "
" oh I don't want to "
" please you let me into your house when you didn't know me this is my way of saying thank you and plus I made extra "
" she did "
Chris said and we both laughed
" ok then "
" We got off just as Bobby was starting to make dinner "
Buck yelled from upstairs. When he finally came down he said
" and Bobby's got nothing on her when it comes to Italian "
" who said I made anything Italian "
He gave me a look
" ok fine I did "
My timer went off and I took the food out of the oven and set aside to cool and quickly set the table as they watched TV
" ok come one it's ready "
They came and sat down
" what is it tonight "
" it's baked ziti "
I set it down and started to go back to get drinks and Buck grabbed my hand
" sit I got the drinks "
" I'll have a water "
It was about 9 and we were all just talking
" well we better get going "
" yeah Ruby has a big day tomorrow "
" Why am I more nervous to go back then I was on my first day "
We all kinda laughed and they left and I could hear Christopher telling him what all we did
" Have fun "
" a blast what I didn't send enough pictures and videos "
" the perfect amount "
He said and lightly grabbed my waist and we gently started to sway
" it was nice had a woman come up and hug me then I found out she's jakes mom and she was crying "
He pulled me even closer
" how was that "
" Hey Buck "
" yeah "
" I'm happy everything turned out the way it did "
" me too "
" ok I have to get this cleaned up then get to bed big day tomorrow "
" I'll help you "
We got the kitchen cleaned up and then went to bed.
