With my twinkling eyes, I bid goodbye to the most gorgeous man I've seen... Not.

I giggled because of that. The handsome man stood there, eyes on me. I happily ran back to my family's picnic place. They were all confused while looking at me as I happily sat down.

"Hi baby... Where have you been?" Mom asked while gently caressing my hair.

I widely smiled at her and secretly glanced at the man, hiding behind a tree.

"I just played with a friend..."

They nodded at me and resumed what they've been doing. I then looked at Lolo and went near him.

"Lolo!" I called his attention as I move beside him.

His lips curled up as he slighty hugged me. He planted a kiss on my head before releasing me.

"What is it, baby girl?" He asked.

I consciously looked around before reaching for his ear. He had to lower his head for me to achieve it though.

"Lolo Dad... I met a king." I whisper.

I heard him chuckle as he distance himself from me. He looked at me and amusement is visible on his eyes.

"Really? Just like your Lolo Dad?"

I nodded my head continuously to answer his question. He pulled me again into a tight hug.

"And you know what, Lolo? He told me something..."

I felt him again, planting a kiss on my head before asking.

"What is it? What did the king tell you?"

I was the one who pulled away now. I widely smiled at him as I clasp my hands together, thinking about that king.

"He told me that... I am his favorite. That I am the Vampire King's Favorite."

And for the last time, I glanced again at the direction of the tree. Where he stands, along with the shadows.
