My parents had been here, meaning my home for about a week and a half when my dad had said they should go back home for a bit.

I asked, "what's a bit mean, dad?" Since I was confused by that.

He simply smiled and said, " your mom and I are moving here honey to be closer to you and our grand daughter"

I was shocked by this information. I said, "when did this come about? You both love your life back home so much."

He simply said "we did yes, but we love you more"

Harry then said "Scott, if you'd like, I can go back with you to help with moving things. That is, if Mary would like to stay with the girls of course"

I was dumbfounded by what was happening right before my eyes. Had my boyfriend and my dad been planning this behind mine and my mother's backs all along?

I'm happy, don't get me wrong I am. It means a lot that they'd do this and it'll be a lot less travel to see one another as well. I  just don't know why they've not said anything about it before now. I'm definitely going to ask Harry later.

"So, dad when do you have to leave?"

"It'd probably be best first thing Friday morning. We can get there, get packed over the weekend and head back. That way if it's Harry and myself, he's not going to miss  much work and we can get settled."

I just hummed. "I guess you both have it all figured out then huh? Me and mom have no say" as I stormed out.

"Mom, would you like to go with me and Sky?"

"Where to honey?"

"Anywhere but here right now"

2 hours later

Returning the house was quiet. I got Skylar a bite to eat. Then we played a bit as I was getting ready to give her her bath, Harry appeared in the room. "Sam, where'd you go?"

"Not now Harry"

"What? Why not? I want to know where you disappeared for two hours with my daughter"

"Your daughter? I think she's our daughter and you had other plans going on with my father so don't worry about it"

I continued to give Sky her bath to get her to bed.

He didn't tuck her in. When I got to our room he sat there with his hands on his head. I said " so now you can't even tuck in our daughter? What else are you hiding?" I shook my head. "I can't believe this. Oh and by the way since when have you gotten so close to  my dad? Why couldn't you tell me about any of this?"

He walks over to me, "Sam, baby, I'm not hiding anything. I did this for you, because I love you so much and I just want you to be happy. I didn't tell you because it was part of a surprise. Your dad didn't say anything about it to your mom because she would most likely have told you." He gave me a  hug and a kiss.

"Sam, do you forgive me for not telling you about this, it's not that I lied, or it's bad?"

"Yes"
