60. allergy

Lily, Anthony, and their friends spend their vacation on Italy. Now, they got home to the Philippines for their studies. Anthony's parents stayed in the Italy for awhile. They said that they missed Italy.

As of now, they're all happy and was having the best life they could ever have. Nothing stopping them. All free.

The eight friends decided to go to a club later before going back to school. They have nothing to worry about after all. They're already enrolled but no one knows where Anthony, Troy, and Evan are going for this School year. It's a secret that Trixie and Bryle only knows.

Anthony and Lily are still legally girlfriends and boyfriends. Still growing their relationship together and are both happy.

Troy and Christine are official until now. They just have to get legal from both sides and they can live the happy life.

Evan and Sophie are now together but neither, official or legal right now. Seems that they are still taking things slow.

Last but not the least, Bryle and Trixie are still in denial about their relationship. Saying that they're not together but not acting like what they say. Maybe they just don't like a public relationship because private relationship is really much better and the best in my opinion.

All of them are living life to the fullest. As they say, "You Only Live Once". So live your life to the fullest while you can still do before it's too late. Enjoy everything.

Lily's POV:

I'm almost turning 21. Damn... I'm getting old.

Naging masaya ako. Ngayon ko lang naramdaman ang ganitong saya. Hindi ko na talaga alam kung anong gagawin ko kung mawawala sa akin si Anthony kaya sana naman ay hindi iyon mangyari.

If I'm the one you're gonna ask of what's the best year I ever had, I must say... This is one of the best year in my life. And when I say the best, definitely the best you could wish for.

Anthony and I are from exes, to Sex Friends, and now. The happiest couple.

Back to reality, I'm starting to sneeze and sneeze right now. My nose are getting sensitive. It's making me sick and making my nose run.

"Lily? Are you okay?" Rinig kong tanong ni Anthony.

I can't breathe evenly. Something is suffocating me.

"I- is there a dog or cat here?" Nauutal kong tanong habnag habol ang hininga.

"Yeah. May dinala si Evan. Can you breathe? Shit! I'm bringin you to the hospital." Sagot nito at binuhat ako na parang ikakasal.

"I- I'm allergic to dogs. I hate d-dogs." Huli kong sinabi bago ako mawalan ng malay.

Anthony's POV:

While I was carrying Lily bridal style unconscious, my heart was thumping fast. It's like jumping and jumping. I was so scared when I saw Lily can't breathe accordingly. She was looking for air.

"Fuck! Come on, Lily. Breathe." Ani ko at hiniga siya sa isang gurney. Sinimulan siyang itulak ng mga nurses at sinabi na maiwan daw ako sa waiting room. Nakita kong inasikaso ng isang doctor si Lily bago sila pumasok sa isang silid.

Come on, baby.

After 30 minutes in the waiting room, lumabas ang doctor na papunta sa direksyon ko at agad naman akong tumayo.

"How is she Doc?" Tanong ko.

"Are you a family of her?" Tanong pabalik ng doctor.

"No, but I'm her boyfriend." Sagot ko naman dito.

"I'm sorry sir. I can't tell you if you're not a family." Sabi nito.

"What? B- but—"

"He's a family. You can tell him." Putol sa akin ng isang malalim na boses. Tiningnan ko ito at nagulat.

"And you are?" Tanong ng doctor dito.

"Her father. I'm Albert Delos Reyes." Sagot ni Tito Berto. Tumingin ito sa akin at tumango.

"Albert Delos Reyes?" Hindi makapaniwalang tanong ng doctor.

"Yes, I am. Now tell us, how is my daughter?" Ani Tito Berto.

"She's stable now. She had an asthma attack because of something furry around her. She sniffed some hair of a dog or a cat that's why her allergies attacked. We'll deliver her to a private room. You can visit her in her room later and you can bring her home when she wake up." Paliwanag ni Doctor. Thank God...

"Thank you, Doc." Pasalamat ko at tumango lang ito bago umalis. Nakahinga ako ng maluwag. She's safe.

"You didn't know she's allergic to furry things?" Tanong ni Tito Berto.

"I- I don't, sir." Nahihiya kong sagot.

"Call me Tito. Papa is much preferable but if that makes you uncomfortable, then Tito is fine." Anito at tumawa ng mahina. Natawa nalang din ako. I thought he's intimidating.

Nag-usap kami ni Papa Berto bago dumating ang mga kaibigan ko at si mama kasama ang papa pati na si Tita Mary na kakwentuhan pa nito. Lahat sila ay nagtanong at kami naman ni Papa Berto ay sagot lang ng sagot tungkol sa kalagayan ni Lily.

"Bakit ba siya inatake ng allergies niya?" Tanong ni mama.

"She's allergic to furry things. At sakto naman na nagdala ng aso si Evan sa bahay kaya hindi nakahinga ng maayos si Lily." Sagot ko naman.

"I'm sorry. I didn't know." Paumanhin ni Evan.

"It's not your fault, man." Tumango lang ito at ngumiti sa akin.

Nag-usap-usap nalang muna kami habang naghihintay hanggang pwede na kaming pumasok sa kwarto ni Lily.

After almost an hour of waiting, one nurse arrived and told us that we can get in Lily's room but three person only. All of us decided that me and Lily's parents are the one who's going inside.

Pagkapasok na pagkapasok namin ay sakto ang pagmulat ng mata ni Lily. Halos takbuhin ko na ang kama nito nang akmang babangon siya.

"Baby, are you okay?" Pag-aalala ko.

"What happened?" Tanong niya.

"You had an allergy attack. You sniffed some dogs hair that's why earlier, you can't breathe evenly." Sagot ko naman.

"That's why I hate dogs. And cats." Anito at natawa lang kaming apat na nasa kwartong ito.
