Epilogue

Lily's POV:

A month have passed and here I am. Sitting, attending my graduation. Yeah. My parents and the principal had a deal that if I make it to the top 3, I can graduate that easily. Same as Anthony. Me, Anthony, and Sophie are on top 3 while my other friends are on the top 10 rankings.

Yeah, the three guys who's gonna transfer here that Trixie was talking about last year was Anthony, Troy, and Evan.

All of us, me and my friends are graduating this early. My course is BAM. It's a two years course after all. Same as Anthony. He took bachelor's degree in business for two years because he's taking over at their company.

I still don't know if I will take over dad's company because he wanted me to. But I really have no choice. I took BAM course and that's the only reason why I did it.

Nagsimula nang magsalita ang principal namin at magstastart na daw ang awarding. Nagsimula na silang magtawag ng mga pangalan at alam kong mamaya pa kaming nasa top 10 rankings. Magkatabi kami ngayon ni Anthony and yes, this is one of our goal in our relationship.

After calling so many names of the students and clapping and clapping, the calling of the top 10 rankings is about to happen.

They started with the top 10 to top 1.

"May we call on those top 10 students this school year. Top 10 who has the average of 90.5." Sabi ng principal namin at tinawag ang isang student. "The top 9 who has the average of 91." at sinabi ulit nito ang pangalan ng isang student.

"May we call on Bryle Sweeney to come up on stage for top 8 awarding with the 92 average." At nagpalakpakan kaming lahat na magkakaibigan. Umakyat na si Bryle at tinanggap ang award niya. "Next is, Trixie Martinez on the stage for being top 7 and has the average of 92.5"

"Woohoo! Goals!" Narinig kong sigaw ni Troy at natawa lang kaming magkakaibigan.

"Troy Wilson, our top 6 on the rankings and the average of 93." Marami akong narinig na hiyawan.

"Our top 5 on the list and has the average of 93.5, Evan Muller. Please come up on stage." Halata ang suporta sa ngiti at palakpak ni Sophie sa tabi ko. Umakyat na si Evan at tinanggap din ang award niya.

"Christine Dantes, please come up on stage for being our top 4 in the list. And the average of 94.5." Lahat kami ay nagpalakpakan.

I'm next, I'm next, I'm next. Ugh.. Fuck!

"Now, let's go on to our top 3 students in this scool year. I just want to congratulate you three for making it this far. Thank you all students for choosing this school. May your dreams came true and have the life you deserve. Congratulations students!" Naghiyawan at palakpakan ang mga studyante, guro, at ang mga magulang na nadidito.

"Our top three on the list with the average of 96 is... Lily Delos Reyes!" Nakahinga ako ng maaayos ng marinig iyon. Binulong ko kay Anthony ang 'goodluck' bago ako tumayo at umakyat para kuhanin ang award ko.

"Our student who make it to the top two that has the average of 97 is... Sophie Magallanes!" Pumapalakpak din kaming mga nasa stage. Umakyat naman si Sophie na malapad ang ngiti at tinanggap ang awards niya.

"Ready for the highest rank? The student who make it to the top one rankings this school year and our magna cum laude who have the average of 98.9 is... Is..." Tumigil ito magsalita at sobrang tahimik ng mga estudyante.

"Anthony Jarret S. Romano! Please claim your awards on stage."

Nanlalaki ang mata ko habang nakangiti at nakatingin kay Anthony. Wow!

Lahat ay nagsisigawan at nagpapalakpakan. Tumaas na ito sa stage at kinuha ang award niya.

"May our magna cum laude have his speech in the front of stage." Ani principal at binigay kay Anthony ang mic na hawak.

"Hi." Natawa ng mahina si Anthony at nagsigawan ang lahat ng istudyante lalo na ang mga babae. For his one year here, all the girls are drooling over him. Weirdos!

"Uhm... I'm really not prepared for this speech but I wanna congratulate all the students who attended this graduation and made it this far with me." Tumingin ito sa gawi namin. "With us." Ngumiti ito at ibinalik ang tingin sa harap. "I would like to thank all the teachers, students, and parents who's here with us and supporting us especially my parents. This is for you and for the girl I love." Biglang tumigil ang pagtibok ng puso ko nang sabihin niya iyon. Nagsigawan ang mga babae sa harap namin.

"I know you are listening to what I'm saying here, right now so I'm just gonna say I love you. So much. You know you're special to me. And to all my friends. Thank you for the support and love. To everyone, thank you for the memories we made here in the school. And for our dear principal, thank you. I hope all of you continue your journey and live your life to the fullest. Thank you and I love you all." Tumingin ito sa akin na nakangiti at nanlaki naman ang mata ko. "Especially you."

Nagpalakpakan at hiyawan na ang lahat at bumaba na kaming top 10 students. Nagbalik na kami sa upuan namin at tinapos na din ang graduation namin.

"On three! Two! One!"

Masayang hinagis naming lahat pataas ang graduation cap namin. Lahat ay masaya at nagtatawanan. Sinambot ko ang graduation cap ko at niyakap si Anthony.

"We made it."

"Yeah." Kumawala ito sa pagkakayakap namin at lumuhod na parang magpropropose ito. Nanlalaki ang mata ko na pinapatayo siya.

May kinuha itong singsing sa bulsa ng gown na suot niya. Isa itong singsing at huminga siya ng malalim.

"Lily, my love. This, this is a promise ring. A promise ring to marry you and be with you till my last breath. To be with you till we grow old. So... Do you want to be with me til—"

"Yes! Oh my God! I LOVE YOU!" I shouted. I didn't say that, did I?

Tumawa ito at sinuot ang singsing sa daliri ko. Tumayo ito at hinalikan ako. Yeah, I did.

"I love you too. Much more. More and more." Tumawa ako at saka ko lang napagtanto na madami palang tao na nakapalibot sa amin at ngayon naman ay nagsisigawan na sila. Nakita ko din ang mga kaibigan ko na masayang magkakasama at nakangiti sa amin.

"Congrats!" Sabay sabay nilang sabi.

Our story is not ending here because it's just about to start.
