Jae looked softly at Jasper. "I thought you would be happy to be able to go back to your normal life and stay away from us."

"My normal life was boring. I have no friends, my dad doesn't even live around here anymore and everyone I've ever been with got tired of me and left. Why the hell would I want that back?
