Chapter 4

Liam's POV.

Night, bright stars, cold breeze was awesome, I'm here lying on the rooftop of our house .

I decided to go home to our town so I fastly rode on a bus a minute after Mia and I argued.

Almost 8:00 pm when I arrived home.

I'm still remembering what we had earlier. When my phone suddenly rang. My mom is calling.

I took the phone and answered it.

"Baby where are you? you're not here inside your room, It's getting late and I have to tell you something about what you said earlier." She said.

I stand-up and I lastly glanced at the sky. "Yes Mom! I'll be there in a minute.

"Baby are you sure? you can handle to drive alone? I know you already have a licensed but 100 kilometers away My God!" the hysterical voice of mom in a worried face.

She's always like that for her I'm still a fragile baby.

I took her hand and put it on my chest." Mom, trust me I can handle I'm  calm right you just said that I am a calm driver, unlike dad." I look into her eyes like convincing her to say yes.

"Okay fine, as long that you'll promise me to drive slowly don't be a rascal driver." Galit-galitang saad niya dahil sa pag-aalala.

I hug her tightly ."Thank you, Mom, You're the best." Then I kissed her on the cheek.

"You're really is something like your dad, manipulative." She sarcastically said then pinched my nose.

"Mom!" I shouted slowly.

Today is our Acquaintance party I don't know if  Mia is here.

Different colors of lights, full volume sounds, and the noises of the students.

I am just sitting here at the corner trying to find Mia.

"Are you still having fun Eastians well, we still have some performance and after we will have the dance floor whoooooo!"  yelled the emcee.

They were yelling and clapping their hands as the emcee's wave her hands.

It's already seven pm and maybe Mia didn't attend the party, as usual when we're still in Highschool she's always out of the crowd.

That's why I got curious about her I always want to be near to her but he always kept her distance.

Every time she's alone on the bench I always want to sit beside her. But once I walk towards her she immediately notices me and makes her way back inside the campus.

I really like to be close to her, but she's aloof and always wants to be alone.

I glanced at my back and saw the two ladies staring at me. I just turned my back and faced the stage. But maybe it's a bad choice that I saw them.

"Hi! you're Liam right? the famous smart guy in SMA." Asked the I don't know her. She's with someone who has a  skimpy dress like her. SMA is where Mia and I graduated.

"Maybe," I answered shortly while looking at the crowd.

I want to urge them that I don't like their presence. As am I irritated 'cause I didn't see Mia the whole day.

"So you're looking to someone?" she asked. While curling her arms to her friend.

"Yes!" I said in a short-tempered manner."So If it won't hurt you, kindly get out of my sight."
