Chapter 48

Lee Jong suk's Pov.

It's Sunday morning and we're here at the garden helping Lala watering the plants while sharing our different stories with some funny moments.

I always find Mia's life interesting that's why I am now listening intently as Lala shares some unexpected stories about Mia.

"Perhaps the reason she's aloof to some people, yet she's trying her best to get along with others who make her feel safe and belong, just like you."  Lala smiled softly at us, Mia's in the kitchen preparing our breakfast that's we've got small time to listen to her sad story.

"Owh, honest Lala, Mia is different, kaya nga minsan ayokong asarin siya masyado." She said in a low voice while squinting her eyes.

Lala and Kin chuckled though I understand a few of her Tagalog words I just can't understand it fully so I ended up looking at their expressions.

"That's Mia, she easily gets annoyed and also hard-headed, she sometimes follow what she want's if it's her happiness."

I agree with Lala, Mia seems to have a different personality when it comes to handling decisions she wants to be done according to her plan, and the thing also made me laugh that she gets easily irritated when you keep on annoying her.

"La, Queen, Kin, Kuya Jong let's eat.. breakfast is ready." Her eyes were shining like the morning light, she walks neared us with a smile on her face.

"Mabuti naman para makakain na itong mga bisita natin, o siya, siya halina kayo," said Lala while still holding the dipper and so with Kin and Queen and me holding the pail.

"Yes, sige Mia, kain na kami gusto ko pa naman luto mo." Kin said as she snared her hands around Lala's arm and walked with Lala inside the house.

Mia smiled timidly as he glanced at me."Kuya Jong, how's your sleep?"

I snapped back my senses when she asked me, I smiled before answering her."Ne, absolutely wonderful," I said while my arms folded against my abdomen.

Her voice was soft and sweet."That's good Kuya Jong."

I smiled widely upon hearing of her voice that makes her more adorable that struggled me to get out of the deep hole.

"But it would be more wonderful if you eat your breakfast first, before you make a sweet scene here, honest! wala kaming jowa be sensitive naman." Queen said jokingly and passed between us.

Mia blushed at what Queen said, we did forget about her, still on our side.

"Let's go Noona Mia." I plastered my boyish grin, which made her annoyed, and slapped my bare arms really hard."Aww," I groaned and rubbed my arms.

"Pa-cute talaga," Mia mumbled as she stares at me sharply which resulted me to scaped a chuckle that made her more annoyed and left me with a smile on my face.

We're already done eating our breakfast and now we are getting ready for the mass well, I'm not a catholic but I do respect their belief.

The day went fast, after attending the mass we went home straight and had some manual works like preparing for lunch with Mia and Kin, washing the dishes with Mia even she insist to do it alone but I insisted too just to be have more time with her, we also play badminton before we decide to go back in the City.

Now, we're currently saying our gratitude and goodbye to Lala,we enjoyed our stay here it feels like home thou.

I hugged Lala and told her to take good care of herself, she smiled  and caressed my hair.

"Thank you Jong, you too take care and have a safe trip back to Korea." Lala said softly.

It feels that she's my biological grandma the genuine smile and the care she showed to us, I can say Mia was grateful to have a loving and caring grandma.
