Chapter 29

Liam's POV:

Colorful lights, darkness turns bright,  happy students and faculties the place was just dreamily, as I roamed my eyes around the gym my eyes settled to the girl whom so near to me yet so far.

"Lim, can you give me the list of all Education Students, whether it's hard or soft copy," asked the Student Supreme Goverment President of our school.

I dipped my hand to get my usb inside the pocket of my handy bag."Here." I handed him, but his attention was not on me I followed where his eyes landed, I got mad when he is intently eyeing at Mia.

I can't stand it any long I walked straight where Mia settled, I don't know why she looks pretty tonight, it's not her usual get-up but maybe she was influenced by her new friends especially Queen.

Mia saw me walking towards her, she smiled involuntarily as if I'm the one whom she wants to see.

"Best, ang gwapo ng porma natin hah!" I smiled when she stood up and managed to fix my collar."See, maayos na, sobrang busy mo talaga pati ang ayos ng damit mo hindi mo na napansin." pangaral niya pa, minsan talaga hindi alam ni Mia sa simpleng alaga lang niya paulit-ulit akong nabibighani sa kanya.

"Oh, ngiti-ngiti mo diyan?" She raised her left brow, naiinis na siguro 'to."Pwede ba best, kung ayaw mong magsalita balik ka na doon."umupo ito ulit, at itinuon ang mata sa entablado.

"What are your plans tonight? I mean mamaya pagkatapos ng program a-attend ka ba ng disco kaya ganyan suot mo?" Nakangiting saad ko sa kanya, alam kong hindi ito mahilig pero kung 'yong mga kaibigan man niya ang nagyaya maayos lang sa akin.

But her answer makes me fumble."We'll have a dinner with Kuya Jong best..."huminto pa ito na parang giniginaw habang ang mata'y nasa entablado pa rin."Niyaya niya akong mag-date, nandito siya sa  Pilipinas."this time she raised her face and looked at me."Best... as in si Lee Jong Suk, as in best nandito siya at siya pa ang nagpadala sa akin nito." Tinuro pa ang suot niya, hindi ko alam kung matutuwa ba ako sa kanya o magagalit, maging masaya o masaktan.

Mia is intelligent, she knows how to deal with herself I trust her she knew to herself already the line between them with her Kuya Jong that's why I let her do anything she wishes because as what she said it's now or never.

I do believe her that her Kuya Jong and Lee Jong Suk is one she showed me the pictures they had. It aches my heart but who am I to stop her and as long that she's happy I will support her.

I took her phone inside my handy bag."Here, maybe you'll need this later, enjoy the night Mia." I said, I didn't wait for her reply, I turned my back on her and strode back to my space.

"Thank you Best..." she shouted I just raised my hand.

The program was started while I'm still busy organizing the awards of contestants of Mr. and Ms. Valentines.

I was taken aback when confettis explode and the UE's dance troupe showed their introduction number, I glanced at Mia and she's busy looking for her friends I smiled a bit when finally she saw it I unmindedly swayed my head when Mia's happily clapping her hands just to give her support for Queenie and Kinfe, I glanced back at rhe stage and Kinfe is currently at the center wearing her bad-ass outfit white stripped shirt and stripped black skinny jeans.
