It's been 2 years now since Luz left the boiling isles she wanted to forget about everything that happened and at the same time she still wanted to remember them but the look in Amity's eyes was unbearable. Now that Luz was 16 she had mellowed out a bit, but at heart she was still a silly fun loving girl who loved magic and maybe, just maybe It was time for her to return.... Luz is now a tall girl with 2 new earrings at the top of her ears her hair is the same but shorter round the back and sides and her top is a fully purple shortsleve hoody and she wears short cuffed skinny-jeans.
In the human world Luz was just about to take the rubbish out the house into the bin when she saw a familiar looking owl perched on the lid. "Owlbert" she whispered not believing the sight she was seeing.
Luz -"Maybe it's time to go back, hey wait right here I need to go pack".
"Hoot" Owlbert said in agreement.
Luz had no idea what kind of world she was getting into but it was nothing like the one entered 2 years previous.
Camilia - "Hija where are you going."
Luz-"I am gonna go to a friend's house for a while."
Camilia-" A friend's house? Oh I mean that's great have fun."
Luz knew that her having a friend would be a shock she never really explained the boiling isles to her mom anyway.
Walking through the portal she took the last glimpse of the human world she would see for a while.
