part 13 the tale of two witches 1

Eda and Lilith were always close when they were young but there different paths and what they wanted in life torn them apart Lilith she was an uptight driven witch who wanted to become great by joining the Emporer's coven and Eda was a loose but driven witch who wanted to walk her own path- this is what seperated them, now their care for others will bring them back together.

Eda slumped against the kitchen table still trying to understand what kind of seal Amity used maybe then they would be able to figure out the spell and reverse the magic, Lilith was thinking almost identically but sat in the living room instead Luz decided to leave them to have sometime to talk, it was also late or very early in the morning so going upstairs was the best option.

Eda- "look Lilith I know this isn't the kind of place you would usually be in but."
Lilith- "It's fine Edalyn.. Eda."
Eda- "Thanks lily."
Lilith-"Im sorry for destroying half of your home it must of been annoying to rebuild it and change locations so frequently."
Eda- "oh lily stop with all the formal talk also you know it's nothing that the most powerful witch in the boiling isles can't handle."
Lilith- "Most powerful witch hmm? I'd like to take you up on that tomorrow then."
Eda- "Don't you have Coven work?, I am not gonna be the reason that you are held back. ok?".
Lilith- "you have always been like that."
Eda- like what?
Lilith- you always assume that I'm doing something because of you.
Lilith turned away, Eda thought that she upset Lilith but then she turned around smiling "maybe I just want to show you how wrong you are about being the most powerful witch". Eda really hates it when Lilith pretended to be annoyed. But tomorrow would be the day they had a good battle.
