Part 56 Last Day In The Isles

Waking up right next to each other was still a big shock but it was a pleasant surprise.

Luz sat up slightly curled in a ball occasionally looking back at Amity's  face still peaceful face.

Luz- I can't believe it I'm going home today... What was even the point in coming back if I can't be with you for any longer than a few day.

Amity sat up she heard luz talking to herself.

Amity- You came back because anytime we can have together means something.

Luz- w-w-what I um thought that you were still asleep.

Amity sat up and rubbed Luz' s back.

Amity- I know this doesn't make sense but... What if I could go to the human realm with you.

Luz- I never really thought about that but wouldn't it be difficult to just pack up your life and move to the human world.

Amity- Well you moved here and at least when I go to the human world I won't be alone, if I'm with you.

Luz- Yeah I guess.

Amity- Or I could stay in the Isles and we could meet each other from time to time. I know it's already going to be difficult for you to tell your mom the truth.

Luz nodded not even knowing why. She wanted Amity to live in the human realm but something just didn't seem right why was it fair that Amity as a witch wouldn't be able to do magic in the human realm.

Luz- Well We better get back to the owl house.

As they were walking along an awkward silence hung around them, and they both knew very well that it was awkward because the right words weren't being spoken they were both withholding their own truths from each other.

Luz- Do you ever wonder how Hooty got himself attached to a motor bike.

Amity- Well I guess it crossed my mind a few times but I think he said something about being trapped in a room with portal parts and human treasure's whatever that is.

Luz- huh, yeah wow I never knew he was a good mechanic, or that he knew anything about human transportation.

Amity- i suppose There is a lot you don't know or don't get to know about a person and then they go.

Luz- Rubbed the back of her head feeling the awkwardness rise.

They finally got back to the house to find lilith passed out on the sofa with what looked like wip cream in her hand and drawings on her face.

Eda and the twins were laughing their heads off as they closely watched the evens that would inevitably follow.

Gus was also sleeping with cake in his hand although it seemed more like that was unintentional. Willow was sitting down at the table stroking King waiting for Amity and Luz to arrive.

Luz- (whispering) wow wow guys what do you think you are doing? she is gonna be so mad when she wakes up and I don't want people to fall out on my last day in the Isles.

Amity- Exactly she doesn't take this kind of thing lightly.

Eda sniggered.

Eda- exactly come on kid don't you want a last day to remember.

Luz- I want to remember having a good time with my friends not an fight comparable to world war 3.

Eda- I dunno what that is but if you are really gonna make a big fuss over a harmless little prank then fine I'll clean it up.

Eda took out a handkerchief and strutted over to Lilith, who was seemingly asleep until Eda came a bit took close and it was then that Lilith swung her arm around hitting Eda directly in the face with whip cream.

Lilith- I've been trying to keep a straight face for hours and it's finally payed off.

Nobody could believe it but Lilith was laughing her head off.

Lilith- Now now Edalyn it was just a little prank after all, no need to get  upset about it.

Eda looked like she was going to blow a fuse but instead she grabbed the handkerchief from off the Floor and wiped her face looking very displeased with what happened.

The roaring laugh  that came from everyone was then followed by an unaware Gus waking up abruptly and slamming his cake filled hands on the table he was sleeping at.

Eda- aaaand I am not cleaning that up.

Luz- well look at that this is definitely turned out to be the best leaving party ever.

Amity looked over at Luz with a sad smile.

Noticing Amity's upset look Willow spoke up.

Willow- Not to bring the mood down but when actually are you going to.. Um Leave.

Luz pulled out her phone and examined her mom's text.

Luz- Mami says she wants me home as early as possible. What am I going to do I've got this gaping hole in my eye she is gonna freak out and and-

Gus- It's ok calm down I'm sure you will find a way to explain it to her.

Em- We were all just happy last night and didn't really want to cause an argument but cutie please don't do reckless spell casting.

Ed- You've probably heard this from the others but we are going to tell you again don't do that.

Willow- When Amity asked me to make and eyepatch for you I was so worried that you were seriously seriously hurt.

Luz- Sorry guys.

Eda- You've done enough apologising you did what you did and that's it. Moving on.

Lilith-  Very well then if we are movong the conversation along then now is the best time to say it, we made letters for you.

King- But don't read them yet, my one is probably the most best you know being a former writer and all.

Eda- You will never stop talking about that will you.

King- wanna know something else I won't ever stop talking about your ground egg paste to the face.

Luz- Egg paste so that's what that was I just assumed that it was whip cream.

King- Whip cream?

Luz- yeah I will have to bring you some back... One day.

Luz- I've been putting this off for too long I need to go. Eda could you open up the portal from the outside.

Eda- Ok kid let's get you home.

Everyone slowly walked to the edge of the door. Her last day in the Isles her last few moments was coming closer and closer.

At this point there are so many views and so many likes on this book I'm sooo grateful to have this many people support this fanfic it's been a pleasure to write  and I'm also pretty happy and kinda sad to say that it will end soon.
