Part 32 A Rebel's Return

Luz pov
My battle with Emira was abruptly cut short when Amity's former combat trainer and E-Amity's former right hand gal entered the scene.

Reika- We need to tal-

Eda- quickly get her she must be working for For that Evil version of Amity or whatever.

Luz- It's not an evil version of Amity. IT IS LITERALLY A DEMON WHO IS POSSESSING HER.

Eda- chill out kid you know what I mean I'm not trying to insult her or anything.

Luz- I know, Im sorry.

Gus - excuse me, but the task at hand people!

The twins sat back, waiting for a fight to go down and they weren't disappointed. Eda and Luz charged right into Reika who was simply maneuvering and finding away around evert attack. Before flinging luz into a nearby tree.

Reika- listen to me, I dont want to fight you.

Lilith- And what on the Boiling Isles makes you think we are going to just believe you.

Reika turned around to reveal a tattoo with an open palm symbol with specks representing magic floating upwards, but before anyone noticed that they saw a big aggressive X that was plastered over it.

Reika- After I ran away from... After I made a tactical retreat I found a cave full of wise men and women I adopted there teachings until I learned that magic was prohibited... they took my power away.

Lilith- oh you poor thing that's  terrible that's truly horrib-

Reika- Don't you talk down to me Miss. Clawthorne I didn't come here to be showered with pity, I may have lost my magic but I can still fight and that's why I'm here.

Lilith- If you dwelled in a cave with wise ones for such a long time I suppose you already understand what we are up against.

Reika- unfortunately yes, I know exactly what we are up against. Those self proclaimed wise people would of had me sit back as the Isle were taken over, It seems these days like everyone takes me for a fool.

Lilith- you are very much welcome to assist us Miss. Wildeman. I sense a change in you.

Gus- wow wow wow hold up a second!

Willow- she captured and almost killed me, If she could really be trusted then I would want her on our side but If she is an enemy I want her as far away from me as possible.

Gus- nobody almost kills one of my friends and expects me to let it slide.

Emira-she put my baby sis through brutal training and made her grumpy everyday until the curse or whatever made it worse

Eda- At the moment all we have are plenty of good reasons to distrust her.

Willow gave Reika a warning stare and made her way back into the owl house along with Gus and Emira and of course Eda, they didn't agree with allowing Reika into the group.

The only ones that remained outside were king, edric, lilith and the undecided Luz who was yet to speak on the issue.

After clumsy falling from the tree Luz made her way over to the others.

Luz- brutal training? what exactly did you do to her?

Reika- well it was training from roughly 9.00am-6.30pm

Luz gritted her teeth at the thought of how intense training must of effected Amity and furthered the curse through negative energy. It pained Luz to imagine how much she endured under the curses forever progressive will bending power.

Luz- I am going to need a bit more time to think about how to solve this.

Reika- time is such an odd thing isn't it?, it might sometimes seem to be flowing in the same direction but the speed of it greatly varies based on your perception.

King- yep this is the kind of wack talk you get when you only speak with 'wise' old people in a dark cave for months on end.

Luz- king she has personally wronged you the most here why do you still think it's a good idea to join her? , Edric just like Em said she hurt Amity and lilith she was part of the reason your entire house fell down.

Edric- Luz you and the others aren't against her staying because you don't know whether or not you can trust her, you are against her staying because you are letting your grudges hold you back from what really needs to be done. Amity is my sister too you know, Emira is just angry and not thinking straight.

Lilith gave a small nod, and king crossed his arms and nodded.

Luz kept her head down and walked  inside to explain to the others what had been said, there was friction between the two groups when unity  among all was most needed. Is this what there mini rebellion against evil has come to?
