Luz knew that Eda obviously didn't mean what she had said a few moments before but she was still very angry with them. Who knows what trouble they would be in when they got back or the trouble they are in now. Lilith stayed at the owl house it's better if someone's able to keep the house safe.
Luz pov
As soon as we got out of the house we saw bits of a cart, a cart that had mysteriously disappeared from Eda's collection of things we knew their direction but nothing about where they were heading, so following a path of wood chips and destruction would be our best bet. For the most part our journey was silent except from the occasional gasp at the mess they managed to create. "Eda look! There's a poster on that tree over there"."oh no no no"Eda said.
Luz- "what's wrong they haven't fallen for a trap, right?"
Eda- "ugh that's exactly what they've done".
Eda- "Take your chances in the hole of doom huh?
Luz- "Well that's exactly what we're gonna do"
Eda- "Kid I really don't like the sound of this".
Luz-" how else will we find them"
Eda took in a deep breath and exhaled out, "I know this is the kinda thing king and Hooty would do, but Owlbert? He must of felt really bored and left out since Lilith arrived, bored enough to join in with the other two I guess"." This really isn't anyone's fault we just have to find them and sort things out before things get a bit too out of hand, and who would fall for a name as generic as the pit of doom that's the kind of name a little kid would make up".
