Part 42 Silent Lady

Most of the Isles surrounding area was destroyed, a complete ghost town. They were on a slow journey through the left side of the titain where some if it's ribs had collapsed over time, the mainland didn't usually have much contact with the other parts of the Isles but the fact that an emergency message was sent out was enough to shake the Coven.

Willow- I'm kinda not sure whether it was a wise idea to leave the rest of the Coven behind.

Gus- yeah there is only 7 of us surely some more people would be a bit more helpful.

Eda- I have said it before and I'll say it again kid I don't like being surrounded by prissy top of their class know it alls ok? .

Lilith- oh not now Edalyn I didn't leave them behind because of you I did it because we need to have our forces spread out and people to help back at central.

Luz- things are starting to get dark I am going to use my glyphs, but can everyone be quiet we have no idea what we are up against.

Em- she really does have a point there, we know there was supposed to be another demon here but where they are is a complete mystery.

Edric moved away from the others to look At the thick black water similar to tar the water was boiling and there metal boat that was designed by the coven would only be able to withstand if for a journey or two.

Lilith- let's get to land we need to look for survivors who can tells what exactly happened here.

Edric- I am no boat professional-

Emira- ha That's for sure.

Edric- But I don't think this boat is actually going to last for long look at that bit at the side of the boat there.

Everyone went to the edge of the boat and peaked at the almost melting metal.

Lilith- Well then we really do need to get to a safe location. Edalyn I can't believe I am trusting you with this but steer the boat. And edric emira please make illusion engines to power the boat.

Eda punched the air and then cracked her nuckles.

Eda- Oh I am gonna enjoy this.

Luz was sitting on a barrel keeping an  eye out for any mysterious activity... What she saw horrified her a tall thin woman wearing an almost translucent cloak was silently gliding across the steamy water with a sinister smile.

Luz- HEY I THINK I JUST SAW SOMETHING... Wh-what was that.

Everyone ran over and questioned Luz on what she had seen.

Luz- It- it was a tall thin person um.. A woman I think and she was smiling and wearing a cloak.

Eda- pff look you are tired Luz maybe this is just your brain messing with ya.

Luz- just like that minor illusions curse I can't even look at myslef in a mirror anymore without seeing those creepy guys but this is really.

Gus- that woman your describing sounds alot like the s-s-silent lady of the isles.

Willow- that ghost story used to scare me as a kid, I didn't know it was real.

Edric- W-wait she is really real?! .

Emira nudged edric.

Emira- of course she isn't real Luz is just a bit tired organising that entire plan when we were fighting the twisted flame, she doesn't even have her magic replenished in the same way we can. She needs a rest.

Eda and Lilith nodded in agreement.

Luz (yawning) - come on guys I can still fight.

Eda- give the kid some blankets and gus you take luz's place as look out.
