Luz pov
"So What exactly happened when you were in there." I said with out thinking, casting a light spell and putting it near to Owlbert's face expecting a reply it, was completely silent before I had said anything and it was getting late so light and sound is pretty comforting in the darkness, but maybe what Owlbert witnessed was way worded than just the darkness of the night it's best to not push for questions this isn't an interrogation after all. At our arrival to the owl house Lilith walked towards the door frame, it was hard to even tell how long we had been gone perhaps a day or two. We held our heads low as we walked into the house

Lilith-Where are the other two?
Eda- they aren't coming back.
Lilith- are they?......
Eda- no they aren't dead, lets just say one of them is acting smart and the other is an idiot and leave it at that, ok?
Lilith- ok then.
Eda walked upstairs and shut her door as the pair stared at her and eachother.
Luz- I think she is really upset about Hooty, he was much more than just a door, I wish he realised that we thought more of him before he left.
Lilith- the way you speak makes it sound as if he is dead.
Luz- he may as well be... He joined her.
Lilith- Her? oh you mean the demon that poses as my student.
Luz- Without king and Hooty things are going to be so much more different Hooty protected this place and he was always there, I really mean it. And king he was the king of Demons and the best writer ever, we've done so much together it's gonna be hard knowing that he's undercover working for the opposite side but if that's what it takes to win this and get my Amie bac-.
Lilith- your Amie? Hahaha is that what you call her?

Luz's face turned a very bright red she was midway through a speech that sounded like the love confession from the good witch Azura book 21 the end when Hecate confessed her love for Azura the enemy to friend to lover.

Luz- that's just what I used to call her when I was teasing her a while ago, it was a substitute for the nickname mittens because she really does not like that name.

Lilith laughed and what she said shocked Luz a little.

Lilith-Well when things go back to normal I'm sure you can tell her exactly how you feel Luz.
Luz- n-n-no... Um I um. Ha ha is it that obvious.
Luz rubbed the back of her neck and looked down.
Lilith- Yes it is very obvious.
Luz thought about when E-Amity attacked The owl house and about how much restraint Eda had to stop her self from giving in a fighting her back.

Luz-I am gonna get her back one day... Hopefully soon
Lilith- humans really are remarkable even when faced with magical problems or things that go beyond them you still try to push past them
Luz- I don't really know much about magic or being remarkable but I will try my best anyway.
Lilith- caring so much is an admirable trait to have.
Owlbert- HOOT HOOT HOOT HOOOOOT.

Both of them screamed what's wrong banging started from Eda's room
Luz- oh... no.
