Part 48 My Fearless Champion

Their arrival was not a quick one nor was it simple but after a few hours of trudging through the elements the pay off was right there infront of them.

They ran down the halls until they found themselves in the assembly room where king and Reika had hid in disguise. A single chair was placed on the far side of the room facing away from them and a person appeareto be sat in it. Everyone set a combined attack towards it.

Nothing was left after the dust cleared only ashes of what used to be a chair.

E-Amity swung through a door hovering out of anyone's reach.

E-Amity- There is nothing more satisfying then watching a human think they can accomplish anything with magic. She's dead don't you understand. Her soul is gone lost in the never ending world that is the soulscape.

Luz's eyes began to well up with huge tears her teeth grinded together

Luz- NO IT'S NOT TRUE, SHE'S STILL THERE ON THE INSIDE.. YOU MIGHT OF TAKEN OVER THE OUTSIDE OF HER BODY BUT THE REAL HER IS THER WITHIN.

Willow looked off at the side the realisation hit Ed and Em so suddenly too. Confusion shrouded the the others minds. Willow began to whisper choking on her own words.

Willow- That.. fire demon we fought earlier he didn't just use the power of fire... we saw him sucking souls.. He.. H-he must of done the same to Amity too..

The twins dropped to the ground there hands desperately clutching around there stomachs and mouths.

Willow- I'm sorry Luz.. But I don't think that there is anything else we can do.

Everyone turned to face luz who was barely standing her face was plain as if she was having trouble understanding- but she knew what they were saying, very well infact.

E-Amity- OH YES I CAN FEEL IT RAGE BURNING INSIDE OF YOU.

Replicating Amity's voice the demon began to speak again.

E-Amity- Show me what you got Human.

Her hood went up and her head went down that was enough for Luz to sprint forward at full force despite the fact that her legs felt like lead weights she pushed on ducking weaving and dodging every attack sent her way.

Luz's moves became more predictable sloppy and uncalculated and that's when E-Amity sent a peice of wooden flooring straight through the bottom of here leg cutting it open a bit.

Eda and Lilith proceeded to help Luz by sending bombs down from the air whilst Willow tried her best to heal Luz's wound with the little medical knowledge she had. The cut wouldn't heal but it's pain was made numb by some potions.

Edric and Emira had picked eachother up from of the floor and combined their magic into a massive circle of pure energy.

E-Amity sent masses of Elemental magic towards each of them.

When hope seemed like it was dimming and everyone felt like they were just about to meet their end King and Hooty bursted through the door with his body attached to a makeshift motorbike his long neck and high pitched voice just as usual. King jumped off the saddle and to the floor.

Luz- King Hooty you two are here together?

King- No time to explain.

Luz- Yeah your right.

Hooty shot himself into the air and crashed into E-Amity who let out a frustrated growl and sent many stong spells Luz's way. She dodges them but her glyphs were set off in her bag and she no longer had anymore spells.
