part 22 are you ok?

Me and Lilith knock Eda's door we heard nothing I prepared myself to see Eda in her cursed owl form but what I saw was even more odd.

Eda was arranging giant stone runes. "Edalyn, we have talked about this, those runes force your body to preform magical feats that will only progress the speed of your curse. Lilith returned back to her usual serious tone but Luz could tell she was serious for an important reason. What needs to be done needs to be done. Eda was very quick to dismiss Lilith's worries. You know that isn't a good excuse to turn yourself into a monster what are you even planning on doing with those things they don't just tell you the future, they only show us the things we don't want to see happening.

Luz- Please, let's just talk before anyone makes any rushed decisions.
Eda- You've had a few conversations with Lilith and your talking like her already just great. A second stick in the mud under my roof.
Lilith- As if that's a bad thing, thinking before acting is safer and Eda as hard as it is for you to admit it, sticking exactly to a plan is the best thing to do.
Eda- fine I will phrase things differently this time, Having a peak into the possible outcomes of the future will allow us to prepare for the things to come. Ok? Is that enough thinking before acting for you?.
Lilith- No you know how much damage that can cause to a person seeing things that shouldn't be seen, it is obviously dangerous.
Eda- So even when I play by your stupid rules I am wrong well that's no different then usual is it no of course not.
Lilith- WE SAW IT... In the matter of moments we saw all the big events that could of ended the world it went on for so long in our minds. dystopian type versions of the boiling isles, tyrannical dictators, world ending events that no-one could possibly stop. And you want to put your self through that again.
Eda- but if we could see the most likely events we coul-.
Lilith- With infinite possibilities how can we possibly prepare for anything? how can we know what's likely and what's unlikely when anything has the potential to occur. You tell Me that and then I will help you! It's almost as if you forgot the days when we would mark off dates on the calendar religiously counting down until the next big event and hoping that our own actions wouldn't set off a chain of events. Why would you want to do that again.
Eda- Do you really think I want to do this, there are so many things out of our control at the moment. I just thought a bit of incite would work. And for your information I never for got an of it.
Luz- I really don't understand any of that but I'm happy you have worked things out

Luz walked over to the runes and inspected them these are some pretty bizarre stones she mumbled.

Eda- be careful around those they are activated by magic.

Luz shone a small finger tip sized light spell Over the carvings to see all the smaller bits of writing that the stone had invested in it's corners.

Luz- what kind of magic
Eda- any kind really all it does is feed on magical energy.

Realising she had cast a spell already her stomach sank and her blood ran cold making her feel light headed for a few moments the runes like stones began to float and enclose her. Eda and Lilith's muffled screams and shouts further cemented how far away Luz already was from the
2 older witches. She had left the boiling isles again but this time she was not on her way home. It was quite the opposite.
