part 19 before they get themselves killed 4 (Hooty)

Hooty was lying face up with no way of moving himself, he listened to figures who looked and sounded like Eda, king, Owlbert and Luz. They talked about adventures that they had been on. Hooty spoke but every time he did all that could be heard was piercing bird sounds, they signed at him and walked away.

Hooty-"Where we you going".
King- "don't we need that door though".
Eda-"No I can buy another one anytime".
Luz- "Hey who wants to go buy some scream cream and apple blood pop".
The group ran off without hooty, A creature stepped through his door from under the ground, "they don't respect you Hooty" the voice chuckled "YES THEY DO!"Hooty bellowed with anguish his voice was still piercing but the mysterious figure didn't flinch not even a bit. "You don't hate my voice?". "No I don't hate your voice not even one bit, it strikes fear into the weak you would be a perfect soldier for the all powerful one".

"But I'm not evil I just don't want to be ignored"."then let's play a game". at the click of the mysterious person's fingers Hooty was made to see all the memories of people ignoring him. "Your're a doormat Hooty". Hooty's wooden body suddenly became a thick splinter filled doormat with brambles and thorns at every end. Each and every person he had ever met wore big boots that stomped over him. By the end of it he was was just a face with a few straw thin bits to hold him together. The figure took of their hood to reveal themselves as none other than Reika wildeman. "Join the all powerful one and all that you want will be given to you, for a small price" she whispered the last bit as not to discourage the potential member. "And if I join you I will have power?"."yes why would I lie to you Mr Hooty sir"

"No one has ever called me sir or Mr before I want to join you". Just from saying those last few words his body transformed into something sinister

Meanwhile

Eda and Luz just found their way to the hole after looking for old cloaks as disguises and weapons that they had collected along the way "recruitment?, why on earth would those three go on a mission like that ugh they make my life so much harder than it needs to be". "Eda I really don't think they know what they are doing". New challengers aye?".Reika said after emerging from the darkness of the hole. "No! We are just spectators". Luz and Eda quickly interjected."Very well, then please take a seat you're late but also lucky the recruitment ceremony hasn't happened yet. "recruitment ceremony?" Luz whispered before being hastily hugged by Eda who pulled her into the circular seating area. 13 out of the many rose from the hole on a thick platform all of them were worried their eyes darting around. 3 of these people were king Owlbert and Hooty who were all now in their normal forms, Owlbert and king spoke to eachother-what were plotting. The 13 people held paper symbols on their hands and signatures written with blood except from Hooty and Owlbert. Reika stood on the stage and announced the leader. E-Amity walked out from behind the curtains. Each of the recruits bowed before her showing her their blood contract. Owlbert shivered and flew out of the room he expected to be chased but nothing seemed to happen.

King held up his hand print contract and stood with the other recruits.

Hooty was carried over to E-Amity with no blood on his contract what was he going to do.
