Owlbert saw king and everyone else around him disappear he had no idea what was going on the darkness of the room seemed to go on forever like there was no escape he assumed that the test would be a huge brawl to determine the strengths and weaknesses of all the challengers and that's why everyone was in the hole of doom- but he was wrong. When he heard screams from all around he knew something dangerous was happening. First a round sinisterly grinning head popped into existence and it's eyes rolled into It's sockets from nowhere. Other parts like arms legs, feet and hands started to appear. It was a giant child. Owlbert's body became frozen.
He returned to the staff form but he couldn't control it and Eda was nowhere to be seen, only his eyes were under his control and what he saw shocked him, images flushed through but they were of all the times that Owlbert did strenuous work for Eda going to the human world was fun but carrying large amounts of human treasures back through the portal every time was just exhausting. An old and forgot memory showed from his past when he wasn't very good at carrying the human goods Remembered Eda's face and the disappointment of her customer that was the reason he worked to hard and earned to carry things that were many times his own body weight. Don't you realise you are just and accessory for her broom you are only useful to her when you are her delivery boy. He felt like it was true and as soon as he allowed himself to believe the lies of the huge child and his eyes fully went black a key chain grew and erupted from the top of his head. You are now my accessory the little child lauhed and swung Owlbert around on her finger.
A dark birds outline stayed firmly around Owlbert he seemed to shrink and shrink even more. His body could even be described as crooked, one wing was higher up than the other and there was no movement at all. You are my accessory and that is what you will be forever.
