Just The Two Of Them (Maya and Carina)

A very short one shot featuring Maya and Carina from Station 19/Grey's anatomy. The next one will be longer! Leave me some ideas below with the ship you want them with!

Maya rolls over and smiles as she takes in the site before her. Carina is curled up next to her, an arm thrown across the blonde's waist. Taking a look at the clock, Maya sighs. They have to get up soon to go to work. If given the choice, however, the blonde would rather spend all day in bed with the Italian doctor.

"Carina..." Maya whispers softly, stroking Carina's dark locks out of her face.

"Mm... too early..." Carina replies.

"I know, Car, but we have to get up," Maya says, smiling at her adorable girlfriend.

"Fine. But cuddle me for a bit first," Carina begs.

"Of course, love," Maya smiles, wrapping Carina in her arms.

Carina sighs happily, burrowing her face into Maya's chest.

"Mmm... love you Maya." Carina yawns.

"I love you too," Maya replies, her smile growing wider.

Eventually, they will have to get up and face the world, but for now, it's just the two of them, Carina wrapped up safely in the captain's arms, both women at peace.
