Chapter 49: Wonder Woman

a/n: anyone here find bickslow (with his mask) and freed attractive? but not laxus? and to be honest, natsu saving the day every time is super cheesy cause like the queen of fairies, ms. erza scarlet is right there and so powerful, she could've defeated mr. hades too. anyways i'm making you the hero cause you're strong and more powerful than the rest, so it only makes sense. i will never make you a weak character btw. 

"Non sense, Y/n. You will rest with the others while we handle this." Freed says. 

"But I can still fight!" I protest. "You and Levy have to redo the enchantment, so who's gonna fight?" 

"How long are you going to sleep?! They're all yours!" Freed says to Bickslow. I look over and Bickslow stands up, completely fine. 

"I can handle them. Let's go babies!"

"You stay under the tent and take care of the injured." Freed tells me. I nod and walk under the tent. I look at all the injured. Evergreen, Gajeel, Mirajane, and Master. After the enchantment was casted around the camp, Freed joined Bickslow and Levy joined Lisanna and Cana against Kain. While none of them are looking, I stand up and start running to where ever the Grimoire Heart ship was. 

After running for a while, I found it. I climbed up top and saw an opening. When I looked I saw Laxus on his knees and everyone else collapsed on the ground too. I look and see the master charging up an attack towards Laxus and Laxus was just kneeling, not moving despite everyone yelling at him to. I jump down in front of Laxus and as the attack was shot at him, I fired a similar attack back except mine was light and the master's was dark. The collision caused everyone around us to be blown away and even an explosion. 

Our attack were evenly matched until mine overpowered his. Before mine could strike though, he jumped out of the way. I look back at Laxus and see him collapse. "Y/n?!" I hear someone from behind say. I stand in front of the master. 

I release a tremendous amount of magic energy and Master Hades does too. I don't have much left after Kain and Bluenote, but I think I have enough to do this. Finish Master Hades. The man who defeated our master. 

"You still have energy after the last guy?!" I hear someone from behind ask. I think it was Lucy. I nod. There was a pause. Silence. Nothing moved. You can hear a light breeze from outside, hear raindrops hit the roof, and pebbles. Master Hades smirks. I charge at him and I hit him square on in the face. I sent him crashing into a wall and I follow up by attack by kicking him down. A light beam then comes down and electrocutes him. He screams.

"We managed to protect everyone." Freed sighs in relief as him, Bickslow, and Elfman finish taking down the chicken and dog. 

"I'm wiped out." Bickslow stretches. "How's Y/n and the others?" The girls look at the base and see her missing. 

"She's gone?!"

"You're gonna pay for hurting our guild!" I say. White sparkling dots appear all over him. I snap my fingers and they all explode. He falls onto the ground and I hit my hand on the ground. A linear explosion is created and sends him back even farther. All I can think about it is the people I saw injured back at base. Everyone was hurt. Everyone had a bruise, cut, scratch, scare. 

I jump up. A small orb of light appears in between my hands and starts increasing and increasing in size. 

"W-Woah!" Lucy shrieks. 

Once it's big, I throw down at him. An explosion occurs and jumps out of the smoke. He released chains from his hands and they come at me. I attempt to dodge, but one wraps around my ankle. With the chain, he swings me and drags me across the ground. The chain keeps holding my ankle tightly. I grab the chain in my hands and I explode it right off. 

"Light Drill!" The ground shakes for a while before a pillar of light shoots up from the ground. It sends the others flying too. I try catching my breath. I see Master Hades on the ground. The others were smiling or other had their jaws to the floor. "You did it!" Natsu runs up to me. He gives me a hug and spins me around. He lets me down. 

"It's all over now!" Gray says in relief. The others nod. I look at Erza and she gives me a thumbs up and proud smile.

"You're like a super hero! You saved us from the weird guy from earlier and now you defeated their Master!" Natsu tells me we both sit on the ground. 

"Well, I finished him off. You guys are the ones who did the rest for me." I say and look down at Laxus.

The celebration is short lived however when we hear Master Hades say, "Impressive youngsters, indeed," My eyes widen. "I would expect no less from you, Y/n Fernandes. Makarov. These are some truly frightening ones you raised." I see him stand up. 

"H-how?" I hear Wendy whimper. 

"How many decades has it been since I was last trounced like this?" He looks unaffected by my attacks. He requips on an undamaged cape, saying, "Exterminating you now would be a trifling matter, but I really must thank you for entertaining me so." 

He removes his eye patch, "Devil's Eye: Open." He opens his closed eye and it's glowing red. I feel his magic increasing and increasing. "Allow me to give you a special demonstration. The Abyss of Sorcery." He extends his hand out to us, "From here extends a realm that far surpasses your imaginations." 

I hear the others comment things. Their voices were trembling. "This is the end, Fairy Tail!" I stand up slowly. The five of them stand in front of me. 

"You've done enough! You can't stress your body even more!" Erza says. 

"To walk the path of sorcery is to sink into its abyss of deep darkness. Wheat lies there is primordial magic that shines in the abyss. It's close. The primordial magic is close at hand. But that "close" exists ever deeper. And what fills those depths is the Grand Magic World. The world of Zeref. Tonight, Zeref will awaken and the world will change. And then it will at last be mine... The primordial magic!"

Primordial magic. I've read about it somewhere or heard about it. 

"But there is no place for you in the Grand Magic World. For you lack the resolve to reach for the abyss." He continues. I look at his stance. "From the Book of Zeref Chapter 4, Verse 12... Arcane Magic: Nemesis!" Demons then emerge from the rubble. They all roar. I look at everyone and they're shaking and closing their eyes. 

"With the magic power of Abyss, from the earth I can even create devils. Devilish dancers and heavenly arbiters... Such is the power of Arcane Magic!" 

I look at my guildmates before magic is released from me and hits them all. They all scream out before collapsing unconscious. "Knocked out your whole guildmates?" Master Hades questions. 

"They were scared. I had to. They were crying and shaking... They were scared. So I had to. They're not the type of people to back down, but I felt their lack of courage. So when they wake up, I want them to wake up to a clear sky and with you defeated."
