Chapter 68: Naval Battle | Day Four

"Booze barrel surfing!" Natsu says as him and Happy are well... barrel surfing. "Aye sir!"

"That's dangerous!"
"Quit it, Natsu!"

I yell as he crashes right into my stomach. The two of us fall onto the ground. I push him off and grab him by his scarf, "We can't damage the place!" I yell at him. Natsu covers his mouth, ready to throw up. I throw him to the side and I start walking away.

"All right! I'll ride it!" Gray says and gets on the barrels.

"Looking good, my dear Gray!" Juvia cheers.

As I was walking away from Natsu, Gray panicked when he couldn't steer the thing and crashed head first into me, his clothes magically disappearing. I crash into a wall and Gray crashes into me, softening his fall. 

"Get off me..." I say, but it comes out muffled. He had landed upside down so his butt was in my face.

"Juvia would give anything to be in Y/n's position." I hear Juvia say.

I push Gray off and Erza on the barrels.

"Seriously, that's dangerous!"
"Someone stop them!"

Erza crashes and her skirt comes up while she's in the air. "You all need to calm down!" I yell.

"Now it's your turn!" Natsu creeps up from behind me and picks me up.

"Let me down!" I scream. He places me on the barrel and he pushes it with all his strength. All I can do is scream.

"Day 4 of the Grand Magic Games! Today's contest segment is set to begin! The event is called the Naval Battle! It's a skirmish in the sea, in other words! The battlefield is a large ball of water! Get knocked out of it and you lose! The last one swimming is the winner! But when only two competitors remain, a special rule will take effect: the Five Minute Rule! If one of the two remaining competitors exits the ring during the first five minutes of the final showdown, he or she will rank last in the event!"

"So it's basically underwater sumo then."

"This is going to be great! Thank you very much!"

"Today's guest is Mr. Lavian, head of the Selazade acting troupe!"

I voted myself to go in, but we decided that Juvia is a water mage so this contest is more fit for her.

"The teams are hitting the water! From Lamia Scale: Cheria! From Blue Pegasus: Jenny! From Mermaid Heel" Leslie! Juvia of Fairy Tail B is also in the water!"

"Minerva of Sabertooth, at your service." The reserve member of the Sabertooth team enters the water sphere. The crowd booms into cheers.

"Minerva joins the fray! Just listen to that crowd!"

"Looks like Sabertooth's team now consists of its five mightiest members."

"Thank you very much!"

"Lucy of Fairy Tail A is also participating! What a gorgeous sight to behold! Each team has sent a female challenger in a swimsuit!"

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"

I look down and see the member of Quatro Puppy participating and see he wasn't even announced. "Uhh... I'm here and ready to get wild too, you know..." He speaks up.

"Tch. A man."

"The rules are simple! Leave the water and you lose! The Naval Battle event is about to begin!"
