Natsu and Gajeel get ready for Sting. The whole crowd was ready for this. "I've still never seen it before, is it really that great?" Gray asks regarding the dragon force.
I nod, "They're at a disadvantage."
In an instant, Sting nails Natsu in the face and sends him back flying. Gajeel tries to kick Sting with his iron leg, but Sting dodges by ducking and his Gajeel in the face with a blast of light. Natsu and Gajeel pick themselves up and charge towards Sting. Natsu and Gajeel both attacked him with punches at the same time, but Sting dodge it all with ease and manages to hit them a couple of times.
Natsu tries fire punching Sting in the stomach, but Sting knees Natsu in the stomach and throws him across the arena. As the two were on the ground, Sting jumped high into the air, "White Dragon: Holy Breath!" An explosion of light is created and the arena is completed shattered.
"Is this the power of 3rd-generation Dragon Slayers?!" Gray asks in complete shock. We all were shocked.
"It looks like the battlefield is moving beneath the arena, but the match will still continue! Please enjoy the battle on the lacrima-trons!"
A lacrima screen appears in front of us and it shows Natsu and Gajeel falling. Sting follows them underground. Natsu gets on a falling piece of ground. "Fire Dragon: Sword Horn!" Natsu hits Sting.
As Sting is sent back, Gajeel appears behind him. "Iron Dragon: Roar!" Sting crashes onto the ground. Sting is still standing and looks completely fine.
"The radiance of a white dragon purifies all... Holy Ray!" Sting shoots out multiple rays of white lights towards Natsu and Gajeel, causing the two to crash onto the ground. Natsu lands on his feet and is quickly punched by Sting's fist that is covered in light. Natsu is sent flying and failed to even blocked the attack.
No matter what they did, Sting either dodged or hit back. Sting raises his fist into the air and I just stare at Natsu and Gajeel as they lay on the ground. It was quiet. Rogue had made it to the bottom with the otheres.
"Oh, my! They're not moving! Has Fairy Tail succumbed at the end of this intense back-and-forth battle?!"
"Natsu! Get up!" I yell.
"Get up! Natsu! Gajeel!" Gray yells after me.
"I know you can hear us! Our guild's spirit is united! We're right by your side!" Erza shouts after.
I watch Natsu and Gajeel as they lay. Then suddenly we all see Natsu shift. "Not so fast..." He says. My frown turns upside down as I see both Gajeel and Natsu stand up. The crowd cheers loudly for Fairy Tail.
"They're actually in tip-top shape somehow?!"
"But now we've seen all your little quirks." Natsu informs Sting and Rogue. The two are taken aback.
Natsu continues, "The timing of your attacks, your stances when you defend, and even the rhythm of your breathing."
"Impossible! I even used my Dragon Force!" Sting refuses to believe Natsu and Gajeel are still able to stand.
"Yeah, you're definitely strong. My body aches all over!" Natsu compliments him.
"Keep your composure, Sting. He's bluffing." Rogue tells his friend.
Gajeel laughs, "Bluffing? Salamander ain't got the brains for somethin like that!"
"Shut up you! For example, you pivot your foot to 11 o'clock whenever you attack." Natsu mentions.
"No, 10 o'clock." Gajeel corrects.
"11 o'clock!"
The two bump heads. "It's 10:30 at most! Not 11!" Gajeel spits at Natsu.
"It's 11 o'clock! Or 23 o'clock if you want!"
"That's the same thing!"
The two start fighting with each other. Gray chuckles, "Man, bickering at a time like this. Talk about embarrassing."
I laugh, "Don't be like that. You and Natsu do the same all the time." I remind him.
"Is that how we come across to others?" Gray asks and Erza nods.
"Quit annoying me!" Natsu says and pushes Gajeel into a mine cart behind him. Natsu grabs the lever and pulls it.
"Hey, you! Th-this is-" Gajeel cuts himself off when he starts feeling the need to throw up. Gajeel screams as the cart takes him off somewhere where we can't see.
Natsu stands in a ready position, "It's time to pay you back for that little insult of yours," Natsu writes 'come on' on his finger tips with fire, "I can handle you myself. Come on, both of you."
"Oh my! Now Natsu Dragneel of Fairy Tail has declared a 1-on-2 battle!"
"You can handle us ourselves?! Don't be stupid!" Sting tries warning, but Natsu doesn't seem to care.
"I've no business with you. Let me fight Gajeel." Rogue says to Natsu.
"You'll have to beat me first, then." Natsu says.
The two go back into their Dragon Force mode.
"Is Natsu really serious about this?" Gray asks.
Erza nods, "It looks like he is. Plus, Gajeel is out, so now he has to do it on his own."
"A little reckless though." Gray shares his opinion.
"That's Natsu for you. He'll be fine though." I say.
Sting charges at Natsu with his fist covered in light. He goes for a punch, but Natsu catches his fist before it hits. Natsu quickly delivers a right hook to Sting's face and sends him back. At the same time, Rogue appears behind Natsu.
"Shadow Dragon: Roar!"
"Fire Dragon: Roar!"
The breath attacks collide for only a split second before Natsu's overpowers Rogue's and creates a huge explosion. The two charge at the same time.
"Man, that jerk sure looks happy." Gray says as we see Natsu smirking throughout the thing.
"It's not that the other two are weak, but the stronger his opponents are, the more Natsu is able to expand his own power in response." Erza explains.
The Dragon Slayers deliver punches and kicks, but Natsu manages to dodge or hit them back even harder. Natsu manages to punch both in the face at the same time, knocking the two back. The Twin Dragons slayers were being easily taken care of by Natsu. It was a beautiful sight, honestly.
Sting and Rogue meet up and stand side by side. Sting and Rogue place their hands behind themselves and release massive amounts of White and Shadow power from their fist. The power gets bigger and bigger. Natsu stays still.
"A Unison Raid, huh? That's impressive." I comment.
"You're not worried at all?" Gray asks me.
I shake my head, "If Natsu isn't moving then that means he's confident in his next move, so I'm confident too."
The huge blast of shadow and light disappear and turn into tiny little magic spheres in their hands. The magic of the two merges together.
"Holy Shadow Dragon Flash Fang!"
The attack heads towards Natsu. One by one the Fairy Tail members start raising their index fingers into the air.
"Crimson Lotus: Exploding Flame Blade!"
An explosion is created and the whole place started shaking as no one could see what had happened next. The lacrimas started having technical difficulties. I didn't sense any magic power.
The lacrima screens came back on. We watch and see Rogue fall over. Sting falls to his knees before collapsing down too. The arena goes silent when everyone sees Natsu was still standing.
The arena booms into loud cheers. Natsu stands there proudly and takes in all the cheers and praises. Erza and I give each other a hug and Gray and I high five.
"Fairy Tail has now taken the lead!"
