Chapter 3: Lucy

"There's apparently a 'salamander' going around." I tell Natsu. "Maybe you should give it a go! See if it's Igneel or not."

"Yeah! Happy, let's go!" Natsu shouts as he storms out the guild with Happy. I sweat dropped and think to myself, 'I didn't even tell him where.'

"You told that idiot about the Salamander?" Gray asks as he walks over to the table I'm seated at. I nod. "That idiot. He really believes that a dragon would appear in the middle of Haregon?" Gray laughs and I laugh along with him.

It's not completely impossible.

"Another day of being rejected to see Jellal." I tell my Nikora as I set him down on the table. After taking a job, I managed to buy the key of the 'Canis Minor.' So I wouldn't be lonely. He's like my partner.

"Puu-puun." My Nikora says back as he dances oh table. My Nikora is called Finn. Because why not? Finn is a cute name. As I watch Finn dance around cutely, the doors to the guild are kicked open. I turn around and it's Natsu and Happy. "We're back!" Natsu announces.

"Welcome back!" "Heya!" "Natsu! Happy" Some of the members would yell back. I notice someone else with them. A blonde girl. Very pretty.

One of the members starts taunting Natsu, "Heard you went a little overboard at Haregon. The council—!" Before he could finish, Natsu runs over and kicks him in the face. Natsu then runs over to me and attempts to punch me, but I pulled my unsheathed sword out from below the table and his fist collided with that instead.

"You lied to be about Salamander! Now fight me!" He yells. My Nikora leaves back to the celestial world, scared by Natsu.

"I did not! I was just telling you about rumours. It's like you forgot about our fight yesterday." I say. Thanks to Natsu, everyone starts breaking out into fights.

"Lemme jog up your memory, Natsu. You lost after one hit." Gray jokes as he comes up to Natsu and I. "Now fight me, Natsu!"

"Put some clothes on first!" Natsu yells back as he grabs a random member and starts messing with them. I put my sword away once Natsu's attention turns to Gray. I stand from my seat and make my way to the blonde. Elfman goes to Natsu and Gray is knocked out by the two with ease. Next, Loke is hit with a glass and joins in on the battle.

As I'm walking towards the blonde, I notice that Mira is too. We actually reach her at the same time. "Are you new here?" Mira asks. The blonde turns around.

"You're M-Mirajane! And Y-Y/N!" The girl squeals. She then asks us, "Are you two going to stop them?" As she points to the ongoing brawl of all the male wizards.

"It's always like this. We should just let them be." Mira says as she smiles at the wizards. I agree with her and add, "You get use to them fighting all the time. It's actually fun." As Mira's watching, Elfman crashes into her and she falls unconscious.

"Mirajane!" The blonde exclaims. Before we could go help her, Gray bumps into us. I land on blondie and Gray lands on me. I shove Gray off and help blondie stand. "My boxers!" Gray yells at Natsu as Natsu twirls the boxers on his fingers. Gray notices blondie blushing like crazy and freaking out. "Ma'am may I borrow some underwear—!?" blondie grabs a broken leg from a table and knocks Gray away.

Next Loke comes and wraps one arm around me and one around Lucy. "I simply can't stand these insensitive fools—!" Elfman comes and punches Loke away. Natsu comes then and kicks Elfman away. Everyone then starts charging up their magic. Blondie gets Happy and places him in front of her, like a shield.

The doors are busted open and a giant master comes in. "That's enough you idiots!" He yells. Everyone stops and it gets dead silent.

"Welcome back Master!" I yell. "MASTER?!" Lucy exclaims and I nod.

Natsu starts laughing, "What a bunch of wimps—!" Master places his huge foot onto Natsu and squishes him like a bug. Master then looks at blondie, "You new here?" He asks.

"Y-Yes!" Blondie answers. Master then shrinks back to normal size and tells her, "Nice to meet you!"

"Tiny! Wait, he's your master...?!" Lucy asks and I nod, "Master Makarov. Master of Fairy Tail." Master flips back and gets on the rails of the second floor. He clears his throat and we all look up at him.

"You fools have gone and done it again! Look at how much paperwork the council has sent me," He shows us a stack of papers in his hand, "All complaints! All you guys ever do is get the council mad at me!" Master is shaking in anger.

"However," He sets the stack of papers on fire, "To hell with the council!" He throws the papers and Natsu goes to eat them. "Power that surpasses reason is still born from reason. Magic is not a miraculous power. It is only realized when the flow of energy inside us and the flow of energy in the natural world come into perfect sync. Magic comes from mental strength and focus- nay, it comes from your entire soul!

Worry about the eyes watching from high above and you will make no progress in the ways of magic! Don't let the fools on the council scare you! Follow the path you believe in. That's what Fairy Tail wizards do!" Master finishes his speech and raises his index finger and thumb up to the sky. I smile at blondie and all of us Fairy Tail wizards do the same.

Natsu and I stare at the request board when Lucy comes and tells us, "I got my Fairy Tail mark!" I turn around and see the pink mark on the back of her hand.

"That great, Luigi." Natsu says, paying no attention to her.

"It's Lucy!" She corrects him. I notice something hooked to her belt. Keys. "Celestial wizard?" I ask. She looks down at her belt and grabs the little circle thing holding her keys.

"Yup! I plan on getting all 12 zodiac keys. What about you? What magic do you use?" Lucy asks.

"I don't use magic. Just use a sword. However," I pull out the key of the Canis Minor, "Celestial magic is interesting to me. Nikora is my best friend." I say.

"I have that key too! I just need to make a contract. You don't use magic? I've actually been dying to meet you! I have so many questions." Lucy squeals.

"Like what?" I ask.

"Are you related to Siegrain Fernandes from the council?" She asks.

Siegrain... The fake name he gave to council. I'm not related to him. I'm related to Jellal Fernandes.

"No. I'm not related to Siegrain. What else?"

She thinks of another question, "I guess the same question as everyone else. What magic do you use? You're known as a powerful wizard, but what magic do you use?"

"Only two people in this guild knows my magic and intend to keep it that way. It's better... if no one knows." I say before walking away.

3rd p.o.v

"What's wrong with her?" Lucy asks Natsu.

"No one is allowed to know what magic she uses. Like she said, only two people know." Natsu tells Lucy.

"Are you one of the two?" Lucy asks. Natsu shakes his head, "Erza is one and the second is a mystery.."

Gray comes to Lucy and Natsu, hearing them talk about Y/N. "It's strange..." All eyes turn to Y/N who was leaving and summoned out her little Finn. She bends down to and picks up Finn. "How she can smile so brightly after going through something so dark. You're new, Lucy, so I'll let it slide. You should know to stay out of Y/N's business."
