Chapter 85: Oops!

"I'm coming!" You shout at the person that keeps loudly banging on your door. You quickly tie the robe and look through the peephole. It's Erza. You unlock the door and swing it open, "Erza, it's 6 in the morning."

"Well hurry up and get dressed, we leave soon. There's going to be some bad whether, so I changed our train tickets to 8am." She tells you. You groan, "Why can't you guys go on ahead, and I'll take a train tomorrow? My head's killing me, I had too much to drink." You tell her.

"Nope. Master went back to Magnolia soon after the banquet and we are overloaded with job requests. He needs us all there as soon as possible, and we're not wasting another day." She says.

You groan again, "Fineeee~." You start to close the door, but she places her foot in to stop it. "You wouldn't know where Natsu is, would you?" She asks.

You shake your head.

"Hm... he was missing at the beginning of the banquet, disappeared at the end, and now he's not in his room..." Erza begins to think, "I bet he got lost somewhere in the palace. If you happen to see him then tell him we're heading out or he's getting left behind." She removes her foot and you close the door.

You quickly lock the door.

"Holy shit!" Natsu whispers as he throws the covers off himself. "Do you think she's onto us?" Natsu asks you as he gets out of bed. He's only in his boxers. "I don't know." You run your fingers through your hair. "I cannot believe we did this." You sigh.

- Last Night -

The banquet had gotten too boring for you and Natsu, so the both of you decided to leave and head to a local bar. The two of you would laugh at the smallest things. Natsu was having beer and you were having tequila.

"You have to try it!" You place a shot of tequila in front of Natsu. Natsu gives in . He shakes salt onto the back of his hand. "It's gotta be quick." You instruct. Natsu quickly licks the back of his hand, and sips down the tequila, before squeezing the lime into his mouth. You laugh at his reaction, "Fun, right?"

He shakes his head and washes it down with his beer. "You're weak, Dragneel." You tell him. The rest of the night is pretty much a blur. The two you played pool, darts, danced, and then finally went to the hotel pretty late at night. 

You and Natsu are standing outside your room as you try swiping the card, but it was taking you a while. "C'monnnn!" You whine. "y/n! It's not that hard." Natsu snatches the card from your hand and does it himself, but the door still wouldn't unlock. He's puzzled. He does it a couple more times, and still nothing. He looks at the card before busting out laughing, "y/n! This is your credit card." He hands you the hard and you begin to laugh too. You rummage through your purse before finally finding your room card. 

It clicks and you're able to open it. You step inside and turn the lights on. You look at Natsu, "I had fun, Natsu." You tell him. "Me too... Goodnight." He smiles and walks off. You close the door and can't stop smiling. You kick off the heels and just throw yourself onto your bed. There's a knock on your door. You walk to the door and look through the peephole. It's Natsu. 

You open the door, "Yes?" He stares at you for a bit before saying, "I-I don't have my card. Gray had the card, and I don't wanna wake him up." He tells you. "Natsu..." You start, but then something comes over you. You grab his face in your hands and bring him in. You walk backwards into your room, not breaking the kiss. He uses his foot to kick the door shut. 

You sit on the edge of your bed and run your fingers through your hair. "You need to go. Think of an excuse as to why you weren't in your room." You instruct Natsu as you stand up and begin throwing him his clothes that were scattered all over. "How do I get out? What if Erza's in the hallway?" He asks. "Figure it out. I have to shower." You pat his back in encouragement and go to the bathroom. 

You look around the room one last time in case you find some scattered items. Once you're secure that you have everything, you leave your room, rolling your luggage behind you. Everyone was waiting in the lobby except Natsu was nowhere to be seen. "I'm ready." You say. Erza was flipping through the newspaper. "Wh-where's Natsu?" You ask her. She sets the magazine back down on the side table beside her, "I found him walking around the streets. He said he got lost, but he should be out any minute now." She answers. 

"Oh... okay." You just say. To be honest, you're kind of embarrassed to face him.  "Where'd you go to last night? I was looking for you, but you were nowhere to be seen." Gray asks you. You tense up, "I-I just started feeling... uhm I had a headache, so I decided to come back a little earlier." You're not sure what they'll think if you tell them what actually happened. You don't even know what happened. You don't know if Natsu thinks of it as anything serious or just a late night stand. You've always had some sort of feelings for Natsu, and this was just going to complicate everything if you thought too hardly about it. 

"I'm ready!" Natsu's voice booms in the lobby. You refuse to turn around and see him. Erza stands up from the chair. "Great, let's start making our way." You all turned in your keys before walking together towards the nearby train station. You decided to walk behind everyone. They were chatting about the Grand Magic Games, and they didn't notice that you were behind at all. Natsu did. He slows down his pace and asks, "Can we talk about last night?" 

You look at him, "Last night was nothing, Natsu. It was fun, but we were drunk. It was nothing." You state and speed up your pace, so you wouldn't walk with him.
