Chapter 48: Quasi Star

a/n: ps the reason your magic stopped just now is because the tenrou tree fell

His vision comes back and he spots me on the floor. Again, my magic was gone. It's not like it stopped flowing. It was just gone. Like I had ran out. He makes his way towards me as I'm sitting on the floor. He kicks me up and then as I'm coming down, he kicks to the side. I crash into a stone wall and fall back down, boulders falling around me too. He comes towards me as I'm down and picks me up by my hair. He then takes his hand and wraps it around my neck.

"We were all ordered not to kill you." He says as he starts tightening his grip around my neck. "But our plan can still work without you." I swing my feet as I start losing air and kicked him in the face. He lets go and falls over. With his gravity magic, he makes me fall too. He stands up and makes his way to me. I look up at him as he raises his foot and stomps on my back like Kain did earlier. He does it over and over again until I turn over onto my back and grab his foot before it hits me. I stand up again despite his gravity magic holding me down.

I place my hands to my side and feel my sword. I pull it out, unsheathed. "It seems like you're all out of magic. You intend to defeat me with that?" He asks and chuckles. I say nothing and charge at him. I swing the sword up and then down. He blocks it with his forearm. I swing it over and over again, but he manages to protect himself with just his arm. While he's distracted with that, I knee him in the stomach. He grunts and bends over, holding his stomach. I take my sword and swing it like a bat.

He comes charging at me again and uppercuts me before swinging a punch to my face. I fall onto the ground and try catching my breath. I reach for my sword that had fallen out of my hands, but he picked it up first. I try standing up, but he uses his magic to keep me down. He even places his foot on my wrist.

He removes the cover from the sword and holds the blade tightly in his hand. He looks down at me with a creepy grin. He holds it so tightly that I see blood drip down his wrist and onto the floor. Eventually he grips it so tight the blade just shatters and the grip of the sword falls onto the ground beside me.

I stare at it. I had that sword for as long as I can remember. Ever since I joined Fairy Tail. Erza taught me how to fight with a sword. "Now what are you gonna fight with, little fairy?" He laughs and his presses his foot even harder on my wrist. He grabs me again by my hair before throwing me to the side like a rag doll.

With his gravity magic, boulders around him start levitating. He swings his hand and they all come flying at me. I make an X over my face. I don't feel impact and open my eyes to see a light sphere around me. My magic is back. I make the sphere going away. He notices my magic is back and I see a stunned look on his face. I stand up.

He smirks before he extends his arms forwards before himself and before closing his palms together. A dark orb appears in front of him, which creates a gravitational field around itself, gradually getting larger, as well as growing stronger and stronger. It was sucking everything up and it was pulling me towards it. He says, "This a point of infinite gravity that will suck up everything!" He laughs wickedly.

I extend my hand out towards the black hole as it gets larger and larger. I start absorbing the black hole and he notices this. "I-Impossible!" He says. I stay standing with my palm facing towards it. Eventually the thing shrinks and shrinks until it disappears.

"Eclipse!" I cast once more to distract him. His vision goes black and he panics, spinning around. I run again in a star formation. "Quasi star!" I cast. His vision comes back and he sees his trapped in a sphere. The clouds above start disappearing and you can see the night sky and stars. Despite his best attempts to free him, he couldn't. The sphere then releases electricity and starts sucking up all his magic.

He screams out as he starts to get weaker and weaker. Once it's all absorbed, the stars above swirl fast around and around until they form a light ring. The sphere disappears and the ring releases all his magic right back to him. He yells out in pain. Once it's over, he falls unconscious.

I smile to myself before falling onto my knees. The sky turns back to normal. I breathe in and out, having trouble catching my breath. I stay like this for a while before standing up and making my way towards base.

When I make it, I see everyone except for a couple of people. Wendy, Lucy, Gray, Erza, and Natsu. "Where i-is Natsu?" I ask the ones at base. They all look at me.

"You look so beaten up!" Levy says as she makes her way towards me. She wraps his arm around my waist and sets me down on the ground beside Elfman, who Lisanna is bandaging up.

"I have to help Freed with enchantments, wait for Lisanna to bandage you up." Levy says before walking to help Freed.

"No. I'm fine... just tell me where the others are." I say.

"They're fine. Natsu and them, I promise. You're safest here since we don't know if they're still after you or not." Lisanna tells me. Elfman lays back down and Lisanna starts helping me. As Bickslow is talking about something, he's pierced.

"That's orient solid script?!" Levy says. I stand up and it's a dog like person and a chicken. The chicken blasts eggs into the sky and at us. I stand up alongside Levy and Freed. Easily, the solid script user gets rid of the enchantment. Elfman stands getting ready to fight, but is sent back by a ray of light. I look to see where the attack came from and see Kain.

"Master Hades will be mad if we stay defeated." He says. Levy is about to attack, but Freed tells her that setting up the enchantments should come first. Levy protests, but I say, "It's okay, Levy! I can handle them!"
