Chapter 10: Phantom Lord

"You guys ruined half of the town." Lucy says as we walk back to the guild. I hold Finn in my arms and say, "It was mostly them." I refer to Erza, Gray, and Natsu. Lucy sweat dropped and says, "Don't act like you didn't destroy 3 buildings." As we're walking, people are starring at us and whispering things. Made me uncomfortable.

When I look up ahead, we all stop in our tracks. The guild... it looked bizarre. We run to the guild and when we're in front of it, we see it's been destroyed. Some sort of iron things were going through it. I rush into the guild and head down to the basement. Everyone was down here.

Phantom Lord.

"Yo wassup kids!" Master slurs. He has a huge mug of beer in his hands. At a time like this, I guess I expect him to drink away his worries. He slurs his words as he talks to us. He told us they attacked after everyone left. Natsu was fired up though, ready to attack.

"Natsu... this is hard on him too. There's nothing we can do about it. War between two guilds is forbidden. We'll let it go." I try calming Natsu down.

"It's not fair!" Natsu yells back.

"If the Master's orders is to not retaliate then we must respect it." Erza backs me up. I know we've had conflict with Phantom Lord before, but why are they attacking us now?

I prepare a glass of milk for Finn and set him up on the table. "Maybe we should've gone with Natsu and the others to Lucy's place... I'd rather be alone though." I tell him. Finn just answers with 'Puuun puun!'

~flashback~

"We're heading to Lucy's. Mira said it's better if we all stay together. If they went after Fairy Tail then they might come and attack Fairy Hills too. I say you tag along. Just in case they were to attack here too." Erza tells me as she stands at the door of my apartment.

I shrug and answer, "I'll be fine. Are any other girls staying here?"

"I think Laki and most other girls are staying. I won't force you, but stay safe Y/N." Erza says as she leaves. I sigh and shut the door.

~end of flashback~

"I wonder what their goal is by attacking Fairy Tail." I say as I take a seat across from Finn. He enjoys his glass of milk and his muffin. "Y'know I think a fight against Phantom Lord wouldn't end well. Both masters are Ten Wizard Saints. And speaking of Ten Wizard Saints...."

Jellal's one too.

"I think it's time for bed." I tell Finn. I pick up his glass and place it in the sink. He returns back to the Celestial World and I start getting ready to sleep.

I stand there. Just looking at the tree. It's terrible. "Excuse us. We're from their guild." I hear Erza's voice. Seeing Levy, Jet, and Droy up there.... it's terrible. Levy has a black mark on her stomach. Phantom Lord's emblem. Beside me now stands Erza, Lucy, Gray, Happy, and Natsu. I can feel their anger. They're being held up by some nails. Next to come is Master.

He was angry and it was scary. Master now declared war. "I'll take care of them." I say. They take them down and we're all taken to the Magnolia Hospital. The other Fairy Tail members have gone to attack Phantom Lord. I decided to stay with team Shadow Gear and protect them. Just in case Phantom Lord decides to hurt them again.

Finn stands on Levy's bed as I sit on a chair next to her. The door to the room opens and I tense up and place my hand on my sword, ready to draw it. When I see who it was, I calmed down.

"Sorry if I scared you." Lucy apologises as she holds a paper bag of groceries in her hand. I smile at her and say, "I'm just a bit tense right now. This whole Phantom War thing is stressing me out."

Lucy nods, "I understand. I'm still fairly new to the guild, but Phantom Lord attacking Fairy Tail... it broke my heart. Then they attacked Shadow Gear. May be too early to say this, but you all feel like family."

I smile, "You feel like family to us too."

"I refuse to eat hospital food!" I tell Lucy as we walk back to the Magnolia Hospital with a box of sandwiches in our hands. As we're walking, the whether changed. Went from sunny to rainy. "That's strange." I mutter and take off my jacket. I get closet to Lucy and hold it up for both of us.

"The sun is out..." Lucy points out. I look up and see it is sunny. No clouds or grey skies. It was just raining. "Who are you?!" I hear Lucy ask. I look ahead of us and see a woman with blue hair and a blue dress.

"Drip drip drop... Juvia is the rain woman. It's always with me." The lady answers. Both Lucy and I get chills and she just walks past us. As she walks past us, the pulls out an umbrella. She says, "Drip drip drop... I am going now."

"Well take the rain with you!" Lucy shouts. Then we hear a weird laugh and someone un-merges from the ground and talks in a French accent. "Another weirdo..." I hear Lucy whisper.

Juvia called him Sol. He was a man with wild green hair and a brown suit. They talk to each other and keep their eyes on Lucy and I. Among the whispers, I hear Sol say "cible." That means target in French. Is it Lucy they're after? I hand the box of sandwiches to Lucy and step in front of her. Letting my jacket fall onto the wet ground.

"Tell me your name." I say. Even though I already know it.

"I am Sol. Also known as Sol of the earth and Sol of the Element Four." He answers. The Element Four. Phantom Lord's elite. "So you're with Phantom?" Lucy asks.

"Correct! And we've been ordered to bring Miss Y/N Fernandes." Sol tells me. My mouth gapes open. Am I the reason they attacked Fairy Tail? Am I the reason team Shadow Gear got hurt? Sol introduces Juvia.

"So you're the ones that attacked my friends?!" Lucy asks from behind me. As she's speaking, she's cut off. I turn around and see she's trapped in some sort of water sphere. She's banging on it with her fist, trying to escape.

"Lucy!" I exclaim. I turn back around and draw my sword.

Juvia then threatens, "If you turn yourself in nicely then I'll let the blonde live. Fight back and I'll make sure she suffers." I hear Lucy screaming in pain. I turn over my shoulder and it seems like the water is burning her. I feel so helpless right now.

I drop my sword onto the floor. Lucy's screams start to fade. I'm guessing she's unconscious right now. Sol smirks and casts, "Roche Concerto!" And massive rocks come from the ground and fly towards me. That was the last I saw before my vision turned black.
