Chapter 71: Four Dragons | Day Four

Lyon sends out dragonflies which Kagura manages to dodge and swings her sword at Lyon, sending him flying to the ground. "What the hell are you doing?! If you call yourself Master Ur's student and she saw you right now she'd be completely embarrassed! C'mon I know you can do better than that!" Gray yells down at Lyon.

Lyon stands. He makes a tiger, ape, and dragon. The three things charge at Kagura and she jumps up to dodge them. A huge magic circle appears in the sky. Lyon and his ice creations fly up towards the magic circle.

So Kagura uses gravity magic. Interesting.

She jumps up and slashes all his ice creations. She comes swinging down on Lyon, but before she could hit him the bell rang. Time was up. The match was a draw. The two land.

"I guess it's our turn." I say. I look back at Gajeel and Natsu as they start walking down to the field.

"Natsu!" I call out before they head out. I had Happy in my hands. I set him as Natsu turns around. "Y/n! Happy!" He walks over to us.

"Are you ready?" I ask him.

"More than ready. I'm gonna win this thing for sure." Natsu tells me.

"Of course you are. Sabertooth has been number one for years now, so no doubt they'll be a challenge. I believe in you though." I say to him.

"Thanks!" He smiles. We both look down at Happy.

"Got something to say?" I ask Happy. Happy looks at Natsu, "I'm not going to say anything."

"I get you." Natsu says.

"You guys better hurry. The match is about to start." Gajeel says.

"I gotta go." Natsu starts walking off. Happy holds up his index finger to the sky and Natsu does the same as he walks off.

"And now at long last, we've reached the battle that everyone has been waiting for!"

Sting, Rogue, Gajeel, and Natsu walk out the field.

"One guild was considered the strongest in Fiore 7 years ago and the other currently holds the title. This is gonna be a great match. It's Fairy Tail's Natsu and Gajeel versus Sabertooth's Sting and Rogue. These aren't just any wizards... they Dragon Slayers!"

The crowd was hyped.

"Give them a thrashing guys!"
"Get in a couple of hits from us!"
"Win this one for Fairy Tail!"

"This is it ladies and gentlemen! The Dragon Slayers are on the battle field! Now the only question is who will be victorious?! The fairies or the tigers?!"

The gong is hit. Sting and Rogue start running up to Natsu and Gajeel. Natsu and Gajeel appear in right in their faces in just one second. Our two dragon slayers punch Sabertooth's dragon slayers in the face. Natsu follows up his punch with a flaming kick and sends Sting flying back.

Sting doesn't fall and actually lands on his feet. "White Dragon: Roar!" Natsu manages to dodge the laser like beam. Sting then directs his attack towards Gajeel, but Gajeel manages to dodge it as well.

"Shadow Dragon's: Slash!" Gajeel protects himself with his Iron Dragon Sword and also uses it to send Rogue flying across the arena. While Rogue flying, Natsu grabs Rogue's face and runs to Sting. Natsu smashes Rogue into Sting and sets Rogue's face on fire before letting them go. "Fire Dragon: Wing Attack!"

The two Sabertooth Dragon Slayers go flying. The crowd cheers and are impressed by how the two are handling the famous Twin Dragon Slayers. The Twin Dragons stand up again.

"White Drive."
"Shadow Drive."

Sting was cloaked in an aura of light while Rogue was covered in a dark and black aura.

The four of them just stare at each other intensely.

Sting then charges at Natsu with incredible speed. Sting punches Natsu back. He punches Natsu in the face again with his fist covered in light and keeps doing it repeatedly. Gajeel attempts to attack Rogue, but it seemed like Rogue was in shadow form. He couldn't hit him and everything would go right through. At some beat in their beating, they were pushed back to back.

"Outta my way!" Gajeel and Natsu yelled at each other. Up above them was Sting and Rogue.

"You're fighting with us losers! Show some respect!" Sting yells as both him and Rogue come crashing down from above. A huge explosion was created.

"It's like that drive thing boosted their abilities." I notice. Sting and Rogue continue to beat down both Natsu and Gajeel. Sting and Rogue looked to be in sync. I'm guessing because they're twin dragon slayer while ours... well... they don't get along all that well.

"Natsu!" Gray exclaims as Sting stays strong.

"That blow just now seemed different from his previous attacks." I notice.

"What do you mean?" Gray asks. I point down at Natsu and see shirt was tore on his abdomen and there was a white magic circle stamp on him. Natsu attempts to move, but can't. I look at Gajeel and see he finally caught Rogue.

Natsu is completely still as Sting approaches Natsu. Before Sting could land his punch, Natsu dodges and decks Sting in the face.

"He burned it off? Man, he's impressive... and insane." Gray smirks.

"In his unique Salamander way." Erza says. Gajeel kicks Rogue into the wall while Natsu punches Sting into the wall. The battle has changed again with Natsu and Gajeel now having the upper hand.

Sting is in front of Natsu and starts glowing similar to how he did a little earlier.

"What is this magic power? It's giving off so much pressure." I wonder. It turned so bright that none of us could see. Seemed like Sting was focusing all his magic power all in one spot.

"Dragon Slayer Secret Art!" I hear Sting say. "Holy Nova!" A massive blast of light is unleashed at Natsu and I had to cover my eyes to not be blinded by the light. When it calmed down, I open my eyes and see Natsu had stopped the attack with just his hand.

"Yay Natsu!" I cheer as my Finn was dancing around. Rogue tries doing a surprise attack behind Gajeel, but Gajeel manages to land a punch. Both of them still had the upper hand.

"Turns out their guild was just talk." Gray smirkes. The two Sabertooth dragon slayers seemed helpless against Natsu and Gajeel. Sting and Rogue stand up yet again. I guess I admire their determination to win.

The two start increasing their magic yet again. "Isn't that was Natsu did back during the Nirvana situation?" Gray asks.

"Yes, but... Natsu got it by consuming all of Jellal's magic power. I can't believe these two can activate it as they please." I respond. Dragon Force. Sting had white markings over his body and Rogue had white markings over his.

Sting steps forward, "Stay out of this, Rogue."

Sting plans on taking out both of them on his own? He sure is cocky.
