Demi's pov

After weeks, we've finally made it home. I know Maya couldn't be happier and neither could I. I am relived to finally be home and be able to sleep in a bed.

"Ok Maya, just let your dad carry you to your room. Just wait." I say.

"Ok."

I unbuckle my seatbelt and get out of the car as the girls do the same, "Want me to get dad?" Ava asks.

"Please." I say.

She runs to the front door while I walk around the car and stand by Maya, "Happy to be home?" I ask.

"Yes, very much so." She says.

"I can imagine." I say.

I hear footsteps and turn my head to see Wilmer walking towards the car, "Alright Maya, how's your pain today?" Wilmer asks.

"Not there, I took some pain medicine because I knew it'd be a long car ride home. So I'll be fine if you pick me up." She says.

"Ok, I still want to be as careful as I can." He says as he unbuckles her seatbelt.

I watch him pick her up and I move out of his way pretty quickly so he can get her into her room. I lock my car and walk with Bailey into the house. I lock the door behind me as I hear tiny footsteps running.

"Momma!"

I look down to see Bella hugging my legs and I smile, "Hi babygirl, how are you doing?" I ask.

She holds her arms up and I get the hint and pick her up and put her on my hip, "Good now that you're back. I missed you." She says.

"I missed you too angel." I say.

"MayMay home?" She asks.

"She is, daddy is putting her in her bed and Bailey's going to watch MayMay today." I say.

"Avie back?" She questions.

"Avie is but she's going to go see Jacob." I say.

"Oh."

I kiss her cheek, "What have you been up to today?" I ask.

"Coloring." She says.

"Have you eaten dinner?" I ask.

She gives me a tiny nod, "What did you eat?" I ask.

"Pizza."

"Daddy got you some pizza?" I ask.

"Mhm."

I'm sure he just wanted to do something easy for dinner tonight. I know it's been hard on him to watch all four kids at once. So I have a feeling he's been going the easy route with dinner lately and not making it, but buying it. Not that I can blame him, I would've done the same thing.

"Can you show me your pretty pictures?" I ask.

She nods eagerly and I set her on the floor and she tugs my hand leading me to her bedroom. I turn the lights on and see the room a bit of a mess, something I'll have to clean tomorrow. After the long drive home today, I am in no mood to do it now.

"I see you've been playing a lot in your room huh?" I ask.

She looks up from her coloring pages on her bed, "Yeah mommy." She says.

"We'll have to clean it tomorrow. It's a bit messy." I say.

"Ok, mommy."

She walks to me with a stack of pages and I sit on her bed and pull her into my lap, "Watcha going to show me first?" I ask.
