Ch. 48

Demi's pov

With two plates of breakfast in my hand, I walk to Maya's room. When I walk into her bedroom, I see her and Bailey wide awake and on their phones.

"How are you feeling Maya?" I ask.

"Totally fine actually."

I hand her a plate and pass the other to Bailey, "Thanks." She says.

"You're welcome." I say.

I look to Maya, "That's good. Try and eat breakfast slow so we can make sure it stays down. i don't want to see you throw it up." I say.

"I know, I will. I don't want to throw it up. I hate throwing up, it's so gross."

"I agree, it's not fun."

I sit at the same chair I usually do and watch Maya start with her fruit, "What's Bella up to?"

"She's eating at the table with your dad, brother, and sister." I say.

"Have you eaten?" She questions.

"I have."

"What are your plans for today?" She asks.

"I don't think I have much of any." I say.

I really don't want to do anything right now. It's been a long few months and it's been completely emotionally draining. I need time to recover. I can always push an album back, but what I can't do is easily recover from sheer exhaustion. I can't afford to stress my self out so much right now.

Not when Maya is still needing help and I've got to worry about Ava as well. I can't afford to let my own health fail when they are relying on me. So I know I need to slow down with work if I want to be able to help the two of them.

"I thought you were going to finish working on the album though."

"It's being postponed for the time being. I've already talked to scooter about that." I say.

"Aw man, I was actually excited to hear it." Bailey frowns.

"If you want to listen to it I can always let you listen to what I have Bailey, the more opinions the better." I say.

"It's good so far, it's not too pop." Maya says.

"Sounds good already, I mean bright and happy pop songs are great and all. I just don't like the entire album to be that way. It kinda makes me sad to see when people do that. I mean they usually have a lot of talent and then don't at all show it."

"That's why P word gets dragged on twitter to this day Bailey." Maya says.

"Aw yes philly mac n cheese."

"I'm still laughing at the fact your cousin got blocked by him and she wasn't even a fan of my mom." Maya laughs.

Bailey coughs as she laughs, "I forgot about that."

Maya looks at her laughing hard, "I haven't tell my mom the story."

Bailey looks at me, "Ok so my cousin for whatever reason just doesn't like the jonas brothers. Like at all, never has. She refused to watch disney when they came on. I was liking a lot of Maya's tweets which ended up putting suggested tweets on her timeline. One being where Nick was playing drums for you somewhere." She starts as Maya laughs harder.

"Well my cousin was just upset the video got on her feed and commented 'What did Nick do to get put in timeout here? Keep him there, maybe he'll learn how to make a better album. Or ya know, just keep him out of the studio and making my ears bleed.' and then tagged Philly mac n cheese in the tweet. I told her to delete it before stan twitter drags her. So she goes back to the tweet and well, she got told she was blocked from philly mac n cheese." Bailey finishes causing Maya to laugh so hard she's crying.
