Chapter 11~•
He is Al Hakeem the All Wise
“ I have found both freedom and safety in my madness; the freedom of loneliness and the safety from being understood, for those who understand us enslave something in us."
*Khalil Gibran*

The hassle of the wedding at Eisha's home had calmed down and after missing the school for a few days she was finally present today.Eisha, sitting in the row behind Hera was continuously murmuring to Yasmeen about the wedding and her sister in law.
"I wish I could fly back to home". Sighed Eisha,as soon as the teacher walked out of the class.
"Eisha my dear, the party is over".Yasmeen giggled, looking at her.
"I hate school". She pouted.
Hera turned back towards them, rolled her eyes and laughed under her breath as she asked,"Name us one thing which you love".
" I love so many things ".
" like"?
"Eating, sleeping then having some food and then going back to sleep and...".
"And we never heard this before". Looking at Yasmeen, she replied opening her eyes wide with mock innocence.
"Come on,it's my childhood". She beamed proudly and earned a chuckle from both of them.
" I am sure you wanted to say 'adulthood".Yasmeen 'corrected' her.
"It's still my childhood.I don't know why you two are so willing to get yourselves named in the list of adults already". She winked at them and continued," Yasmeen when is your wedding "?
" The earlier topic was interesting". Yasmeen grinned at the sudden shift in the topic.
"I am sure this is much more interesting, now you don't divert the subject and answer me".
" The date has not been fixed yet but it's going to be after I am done with my exams". Letting out a big heavy sigh, she answered shortly.
Eisha clapped her hands and exclaimed," Ah that's just a month away".
"Girl calm down this isn't your wedding".Hera interposed with a funny remark intended to tease her.
" There you are I was wondering why didn't you croak yet".She rolled her eyes at Hera.
"Seriously though Eisha, what you're asking for is impossible. Impossible at least in the kind of environment we live in".
"See this is exactly my point ".Hera was quick enough to support Yasmeen.
"I think we were talking about Yasmeen and her wedding".Putting a hand under her chin she faced Yasmeen and carried on," tell us more about your in laws and how they are".
"Every one is good even I don't know much about them".
"That's it"? She raised an eyebrow at her.
" What else do you want to know".
"How's your fiance"?
" He is good".
"Don't you talk to him"?
" No we don't talk to each other".Yasmeen replied somewhat bemused.
" Why not"?
"Why should we"?
" Because you two are engaged".
"Engagement has no status in Islam,Eisha. He is still a non mahram to me which means I cannot talk to him or meet him unless it's a chaperoned meeting. The rules which apply to a non mahram are applied to him. Most of the girls entertain the notion that they can talk to their fiance because they are promised to get married but isn't that's what is promised in a girlfriend boyfriend relationship? If that's unlawful in Islam then how can this be?Speaking to your fiance/fiancée before marriage is haram."
