Once we're back at the grove, I call upon the Rumble Dragon as well, and we sit down to discuss the situation.
"So, a few rules to follow." I begin. The Dragons exchange worried looks. "First off: Leave Humanoids alone. Defend yourself if attacked, of course, but do not instigate trouble with them." I ignore an almost audible 'aw' from the Death Dragon.
"Second: Leave other Servants alone. You should be able to tell them apart from other monsters due to the Bond. Either way, I will know if you've attacked one of them, and punishment will be issued." Seeing a few worried looks from the Dragons, I specify: "All monsters that aren't my Servants are fair game, particularly Chimera."
Their faces light up again. "I think that's it?" I turn to Huldr, in case she remembers more rules I've applied to them that I haven't mentioned to the Dragons. She thinks for a moment, before shaking her head. "Now then, I look forward to our time together. Next, I'd like to ask if you know of any monsters that hold certain Skills and Spells I'm after."
<If I may ask, for what reason do you seek these Skills and Spells?> The Death Dragon asks, their voice in my head bringing forth images of a sick and dying old man. "In order to reach my next Evolution, I need to obtain these Skills and Spells." I explain, before listing off the ones I still need.
<We Dragons could aid with the Spells, as each of us should know at least the preceding Spell to those.> Life Dragon says, before realization hits. <B-but wouldn't the Monarch need to kill us to gain them?> "Call me Millibelle, and no, I just need to see it cast to learn the Lesser tier of the Spell." I calm them.
<So that leaves the Skills... You mentioned the Divine told you of monsters that might yield them, but considering most of them are rare to come by or even critically endangered...> They become lost in though for a moment. <Let's see... Although almost as rare as a Carbuncle, I know that a few Crystal Lizards accompanied us to this place, they've probably set up in the volcanic region. Crystal Lizards also hold the Crystallize and Refracting Shell Skills, like the Carbuncle.>
The Life Dragon looks to the others, who also think about it. <Sky-Fishes carry the Sky-King Skill, though I'm sure it would be much easier to just fight a Roc for that Skill considering that Sky-Fishes are the fastest monster in the World.> The Air Dragon admits, before adding. <Although a Roc accompanied us, it was a lone female on the verge of bursting with her eggs, seems she desperately wanted to raise them safely here.>
Egh, so I'd have to... no wait, couldn't I just steal a chick? It should have the Skill I need?
<Water Dancer's unique to the Stygian Medusa, so you're out of luck there. There were a few Eggs of them carried along, though I'm unsure if they've hatched yet.> The Water Dragon sighs. <Electric Charge and Discharge is held by all variants of the Coppercoil Eel, so you don't need to find a Great one, even a baby Glass Coppercoil Eel would do.> The Lightning Dragon claims.
<Verdant Body is also held by Barometz, though they only appear if there's a Lampetia nearby, and there weren't any of those with us, unfortunately.> The Plant Dragon says, hanging their head slightly. <And lastly, Blaze Coat is held by...> The Heat and Fire Dragons shudder. <By either the vile Urobach Undead, or you could just find and kill a Flintermatch. We vote for the Flintermatch.>
So even Dragons despise Undead? "Where would I be able to find one of these, uh, Flintermatches?" I ask. <They roam anywhere it's dry and sandy, so probably the desert region.> The Heat Dragon responds.
"...!"
"...!"
Ah? I just got a distress call from the Gasts... "I'm sorry, let's do the Spell lessons later, something's come up." I apologize to the Dragons. "Don't worry about letting me know where you're going, as long as you're within my Domain, I'll be able to find you." I tell them before flying off to the aid of the Lovers.
