Sinamahan ko si Nanay na maghintay ng update kay Tatay. She is alone and I know she needed someone to be there for her.

"Nay, isuot mo 'to. Malamig." I said sabay abot ko sa kanya ng jacket.

"Thank you, anak! Hindi ka pa ba matutulog? May klase ka bukas!" aniya. Even as this kind of time, she always makes sure to worry about us. Ganito sila ni Tatay lagi.

Napailing ako. "Okay lang, Nay. Hindi rin ako makakatulog knowing what happened. Was Tatay overworked?" I asked.

Wala rin naman akong maisip na dahilan kung bakit inatake si Tatay. He must be really exhausted as he needs to close  lots of deals for the company. I kept recalling Grandpa and Grandma's scene earlier at sa totoo lang, bumigat ulit ang pakiramdam ko.

"I think so." ani Nanay and she sighed. "Kung p'wede lang, kung p'wede lang talaga tutulan ko ang desisyon na ito ng Tatay mo, gagawin ko. I don't want him to be away from us, away from me! Ganitong may sakit siya, gusto ko na lang lumipad to where he is now and take care of him. Deep inside me, naiinis ako sa nangyayari! Your Tatay doesn't deserve any of these from his family! After all the hardship that he had to go through before, here he is, nagpapakapagod just to save that company at tulungan ang pamilya niya. I get it naman! I know that if it wasn't from that company at pagtatrabaho ng Grandpa mo ay malamang, mahihirapan sila to go on lalo na't may sakit ang Tatay mo.  Alam ko rin na because of their money, nagkaroon nang pagkakataon na mamuhay ang Tatay mo ng marangya and a long life! I appreciate them all pero ito ang magiging kapalit? My heart is bleeding for him!" si Nanay and I can the sadness in her voice.

"Nay, do you wish to go after Tatay? You can, Nay. A—ako na bahala sa mga kapatid ko! Isa pa, Kuya and Ate Mia are here! Nandito sila Nana at Tatay Mario, Lolodok, si LolaNey and the rest of the titos! It's fine, Nay." I recommended pero napabuntong hininga lang si Nanay

I guess she won't.

"Tatay doesn't like the idea. Alam mo naman ang Tatay mo! He grew up without anyone in his side. I meant, a family. Oo nandoon sila Nana at Tatay Mario na naging parents niya eventually pero iba pa rin iyong totoong pamilya talaga. Sabi niya sa akin, at least daw nandito ako at makakasama niyo, okay lang sa kanya na nasa malayo siya! Isa pa, with me being here, napapanatag siya sa kalagayan niyo. I can't argue with him with that kind of thinking, EL." she sighed after.

"Then, will Tatay be okay?"

Kahit pa madalas nananalo si Nanay versus Tatay, hindi pa rin talaga maiaalis na Tatay is the head of our family, and that Nanay definitely follows him. Give and take.

"Let's wait and find out. Basta, h'wag mo muna ipaalam sa Kuya mo ito, ha? It's not a good idea to worry him. Alam mo naman iyon when it comes to Tatay! Let's just inform everybody when we get some updates from Germany, okay?" ani Nanay at agad akong napatango."Thank you, number 2! It's always nice to share these stuffs with you, kahit papaano ay nakakalma ako!" and Nanay managed to smile despite her worry.

"No worries, Nay! Maloko ako minsan pero ako pa rin ang pinakamabait sa lahat ng anak mo! You can always count on me!" sabi ko and of course, sa true lang tayo!

Bahagyang natawa si Nanay and goal achieved somehow. "Mediyo feelingero ka talaga 'nak! But, fine! I'll agree with it because kaharap kita!" she said while giggling.
