The Kiara Sarah and Esperanza were looking over Popes drawing and going through the plan.
"He said it looked something like this.That's 50 feet down, and they're using 100-feet rope.So I guess this little wagon will go straight to the gold room." Kie explains as Sarah and Esperanza laughs at the drawing. It was a pretty bad drawing.
"Who drew this?" Sarah asks Esperanza who was still giggling and holding onto her side.
"Who do you think" Esperanza says trying to stifle her laugh. The group looks up at Pope who is already staring at Kiara causing the group of girls to giggle even more.
"Es! This better work. We can't pawn this if there's a giant wheat symbol on it." JJ tells the girl as he walks outside.
"Its gonna work" she reassures him as she grabs a fire torch and begins melting it down. It was satisfying for the girls to watch.
The group now stood outside the pawn shop as Esperanza handed JJ the terribly melted piece of gold.
"Hell of a job melting it down, Dr. Frankenstein." JJ says sarcastically to Esperanza.
"Like you could've done better" kie rolls her eyes at the boy.
"I could have. I took a welding class" He lies to group.
"When?" Esperanza asks pursing her lips. JJ did the same sarcastic gesture before quickly kissing her on the lips.
"Chill out okay" John B says.
"Easy for you to say. You're not the one that has to pawn this piece of shit off. How did I get this job anyway?" He asks the group.
"Cause you're the best liar baby" Esperanza smiles kissing him on the lips softly again before going to rest in the car courtesy of JJ being to over protective.
Esperanza had fallen asleep in the car not noticing when JJ and them came out JJ had picked her up as she was asleep in a ball on his lap.
"So they keep money out here?" Pope asks still suspicious.
"That's what she said" JJ answers the question causing the him to giggle a little bit, "That's what she says" he laughs.
"Stop" Pope says once again. Ruining the fun.
"I've never even heard of Resurrection Drive." Sarah says as her and kie got suspicious.
"That's cause your rich"
"You've never even heard of it either" kie says siding with Sarah.
"Thank you" She says smiling at Kie as she returns it.
"There's nothing but weeds back here." Kie says rolling her eyes.
"All right, just 'cause it's just weeds, doesn't mean it's, like..." JJ says getting cut off by cop sirens as the group panicks. Asking JJ if he has the gun or any weed which he dismisses hiding the gold. Esperanza waking up from all the loud noises and moving around. The group freezes as the heard the sound of a gun cocking causing everyone to look at the drivers window to see someone who definitely not a cup point a gun to John Bs head. Telling John B to get out and let the pouges in the back out as well.
"There you go foxy lady" he says as John B helped Esperanza out of the car last. She paused for half a second. That voice sounded so familiar to her. The man himself paused for half a moment when he seen her face. A wave of familiarity passed through the both of them but JJ had jumped out of the car and infront of the group protectively. Stupid, Stupid boy. You're not bullet proof. Esperanza's inner dialogue had said. "Go!" He snapped at them. Her heart beated what feels to be 100 mph as she went and stood with the group waiting for his next set of instructions,"Lay down in the ditch! On your goddamn hands and knees! Down!" And the group of Teens obeyed him like they were dogs.
