A/N: Almost this entire chapter is fluff, it does have some mentions of suicide and death due to Alexander's backstory.
Alexander pulled his car out of the driveway and went towards Schuyler Manor.
Philip Schuyler, Eliza's father, was one of three people who were, as the kids at school called them, 'sugar daddies'. The 'sugar daddies' were the rich among the rich. Most of the kids who went to Lin Manuel Miranda High had money, but these people were loaded. They included the Schuyler's, the Jefferson's, and the Burr's. When Alexander pulled up to Eliza's front gate, he wasn't shocked as to how big the house was. He waited at the gate for a moment before being let in.
As he drove to the front door, Alex saw a girl running down the steps. She was wearing a light blue, simple dress, and her straight black hair was pulled back out of her face."You look as beautiful as a goddess." Alexander said as she walked up to the car.
Eliza started blushing, she knew Alex had a way with words, but she still got all sheepish whenever he complemented her. "Thank you, you look nice as well."
"What kind of movie are we seeing again?" He questioned.
"The perfect movie for both of us, a romantic comedy. Romantic for me, and comedy for you." She chuckled.
"You know me so well." Alexander said in a strange tone. He knew he had never told her he liked comedies. How did she know? He didn't question it for too long though, knowing he knew stuff about her that she had never told him.
He drove her over to the movie theater and bought her whatever she wanted. She ended up only getting popcorn, soda, and a box of candy.
Alexander took her up and they sat in the middle of the theater, the perfect seats. When the movie started, he grabbed Eliza's hand and held it on the arm rest.
About halfway into the movie, Eliza looked up and over at him. She rested her head on his shoulder, then looked up again embarrassed."Can I?" She asked, feeling bad that she laid down on his shoulder without even asking.
"Yeah of course." He smiled. He bent his neck down and kissed her cheek. She jumped startled.
"I'm so sorry, I won't do it again, I'm sorry." He pleaded.
"It's ok." She calmly responded.
"What?" Alex asked confused.
"It's ok, I just didn't know you were gonna kiss me." She smiled sweetly. "I thinks it's cute."
Eliza sat back up and moved the armrest back. She snuggled up next to Alexander and they finished the movie with smiles on their faces.
Once the film was over, Alexander took her to a decently nice restaurant. He didn't go anywhere too fancy, especially since they were both dressed a little too casual. It was a place called the Rose Garden.
When they both sat down and ordered drinks, Eliza looked up at Alexander."You must've had plenty of girlfriends before." She charmed him.
"Actually, not really. I haven't really gotten the chance." He answered.
It was true. Before he moved in with the Washingtons when he was 15, he went to many different schools with many different people. He tried not to get too attached knowing as soon as his foster family had enough of his mouth he would be on to the next school. The only times he ever even kissed a girl is if he liked her and he knew he would never get to see her again. That very rarely happened too."So, tell me about yourself. Who is Elizabeth Schuyler?" He joked.
"Well, my name is Elizabeth Schuyler, I go by Eliza, my father's name is Philip Schuyler, I have two sisters, I like romantic movies, and my favorite color is blue." She giggled. "What about you?"
He didn't want to start the relationship off with lies, but he didn't know if he was ready to come clean."Eliza, I love you. Do you love me?"
"Yes, if I didn't I would've waited for you to ask me out." She joked.
"Ok then, you deserve to know." He came clean. "My name is Alexander Hamilton, I'm 17, and I've been in foster care since I was twelve."
She looked at him confused.
"My father left when I was ten, my mother died when I was twelve, my cousin committed suicide a few months later and I've been in the foster care system ever since." He confessed. "Oh, and I was born in the Caribbean, I moved to America because my cousin lived here."
"Wow, is there anything else I should be prepared for?" She asked shocked.
"My foster parents are the Washingtons, and Lafayette is my foster brother." He said sadly, not thinking she would love him anymore. "And as of today, John Laurens."
Eliza didn't answer, she just sat there in shock.
"I'm sorry, Eliza. If you want I'll drive you home."
"Why would we go home?"
He looked up at her, shocked and surprised.
"Alexander I'm only upset you didn't tell me sooner. But you're the same person right?"
He nodded his head.
"Then I'm staying right here."
They ordered their food and talked some more, finding out each other's likes and dislikes. About their friends and activities they liked. The night felt perfect.
After dinner, Alexander paid, being a gentleman, and they decided to go for a walk. They made it about ten steps before Eliza started shivering in her short sleeved dress.
"Here, take my coat." Alex said pulling off his jacket.
"Thank you."
Eliza had been in many bad relationships before. Boys who just dated her for her father's money, for her looks. No one had ever insisted on paying for her dinner none the less offering their coat to her.
They went on a stroll through the park before coming back to Alexander's car. He drove her back to her gigantic house and walked her up the steps."Thank you so much. This night has been truly magical." Eliza said. Her eyes shimmering in the moonlight.
"Thank you for the invite. I'm very glad you had a good time." Alex responded. "Altought next time, I'll ask you out."
He took one last look at her before leaning in and touching his lips to her cheek. He held her right in his arms and stoked her hair with his hand. He knew she was the one he was to spend the rest of his life with.
