A/N: This chapter isn't really important to the story, it's more of just a filler.

It had been a few days since the Washingtons adopted Lafayette, Alexander, and John. Things were getting back to usual with Laurens in the house again. Everything was good.

"Hurry up!" Washington called as he walked out the door. "Remember Laurens, I had to cancel your therapy session after school today!"

"Yes." John had a broken leg and was on crutches, the only thing he wanted to do after school was come home and sit on the couch for the rest of the day.

"Breakfast!" Martha called them into the kitchen.

"Alexander! Hurry up!" Lafayette banged on the bathroom door.

"Leave me alone!" Alexander yelled back.

It was a normal morning. They all ran down after awhile to eat.

"Hey. Me and Eliza were going out to eat after school, so I won't be home until later." Alexander said.

"Ok, just make sure you're back by curfew." Martha smiled.

Alexander nodded, although no one really knew if he was going to be true to his word.

"Make sure you don't forget your homework, Laurens." Alexander teased.

"I'm crippled, not helpless." John rolled his eyes.

"Ha." Laf laughed. "I still bet that you'll forget one of your assignments. Five bucks."

"You're on." Laurens chuckled.

They shook hands and continued eating.

US History.

Lafayette and Laurens walked in together. Laurens leaned against the wall and pulled an assignment out of his backpack. Then smirked at Laf.

"The day has just begun mon ami." Laf smiled.

"And you will owe me five bucks at the end of it." Laurens said.

Lafayette rolled his eyes and took a seat, Laurens followed behind him.

Lunch.

"Hey, could you get me some more chips?" Alexander joked.

"Seriously? I'm not going to pretend to be handicapped because my leg is broken, no matter what it gets you." John rolled his eyes.

"Fine, don't expect me to help you to your next class."

"That's discrimination."

"You want to carry all your books to class than it's fine by me."

"Ugh. Fine." Laurens got up and walked over to a table where he saw a girl with an unopened bag of chips.

"Excuse me. Could I buy those chips from you?" He said leaning on his crutches. "I wasn't able to make it here in time and they were all sold out." He gave a little frown.

"No, I mean yes, but I couldn't ask you to pay for them." She said handing him the bag.

"Thank you so much." He grinned. "These are my favorite."

He went back over to the table where Alexander was, and now Lafayette, Peggy, and Eliza.

"But seriously, no more." Laurens giggled.

"Bravo my good man." Alexander clapped for him.

"What happened?" Peggy asked.

"Laurens got me a bag of chips." Alexander chuckled.
