The next day Alexander, woke up with a massive headache. There were two extra strength aspirin tablets on his bedside table that Lafayette had put there.
Alexander groaned, and sat up. Lafayette heard and came in.

"What the heck?" Alexander asked confused not quite sure what happened last night.

"Well, if it isn't Mr. Tequila. Why on earth did you willingly drink something you knew had alcohol in it?" Lafayette asked upset.

"I, I don't know, he said I was a wimp, and I wanted to prove him wrong. I think I had already had some before I said that." Alexander answered.

"Well I hope you're happy, because while you were off on your dumb and immature little bet, you happened to punch a guy and hit on your own girlfriend. You got upset when she said she had a boyfriend. You're her boyfriend. Not to mention some jocks gave Laurens a spiked drink, as well because you didn't tell him that the punch had alchohol in it. But no, you had to prove you weren't a wimp." Lafayette snapped at him.

"All that happened? Oh my gosh I'm so sorry." Alexander responded rubbing his head. "I thought those things were extra strength." He said pointing to the bottle of aspirin.

"You better hope they are. Cause you have speech and debate today." Laf chuckled.

"No! Oh my gosh we're done for. I'm never going to be able to pull this off." Alexander panicked.

"You better, cause if they find out there was alcohol at that party, we will all be under house arrest and they won't care to here out side of the story." Laf, also started to panic.

Washington came into the room, at the sound of the boys.

"What's going on?" He asked completely oblivious to what was happening.

"Nothing." They both lied.

"Ok, Alex, you have to be ready in one hour." Washington said before leaving.

"What if I injure myself. We could make it look like an accident." Alexander chuckled but actually thought about it.

"Yeah right, you'd back out within five seconds." Lafayette laughed.

"But seriously, I mean. What could I possibly do?" Alexander started. "My head is killing me, I can barely think straight, and I haven't even tried to walk yet. Im sure as soon as I stand up I'll probably pass out."

"You're such an idiot." Lafayette banged his head against the wall. "Pourquoi diable ai-je été maudit avec un frère adoptif aussi ignorant."

Whenever Lafayette freaked out, he started ranting in French.
Alexander was fluent in French and just listened.

"Pourquoi me détestes-tu autant? Je veux dire, allez Alexander." He continued.

"Alright calm down, they're going to here you." Alexander worried.

"You have to try and stand up." He finally calmed down.

"Alright." Hamilton sat up, and swung his legs over the bed. He tried to stand up, but his legs gave out almost immediately.

"This is hopeless." Laf ranted.

Alex tried to stand up one more time, grasping the night table for support.

"We might have a chance."

They went down stairs for breakfast and were greeted by Washington.

"How'd you sleep?" He asked. "I hope our brightest debate member will be ready to shine today."

Alexander practically shrieked right there. He pulled himself together, and sat down at the table. He looked over at John.
