Warning: just a punch.

US History.

"Are you sure about this?" Lafayette asked Hamilton.

Alexander had planned dumb and immature things before, but this time he was actually serious about doing it.

"I can't just let him get off clean." Alexander began. "I mean come on, how did nothing happen to him after?"

Washington came in and the class began.

Lunch.

Alexander walked over to Jefferson's table, he had this whole thing planned out.

"Well if it isn't Mr. Perfect. Don't think that just because you're the teachers pet this year that you're better than me. Cause that's not a possibility." Thomas glared.

Alexander didn't respond, he just decided to chuck a fairly large water balloon at him. Aimed specifically at his pants.

"Time for the exit plan." He mumbled to himself.

Everyone looked up from their tables at the wet mess, they all began laughing as Thomas just sat there in anger.

"Hamilton!"

That was Alexander's que to start running. He had a genius route around the school he used for every time he pranked Jefferson. Thomas could never catch up.

He ran through the courtyard, through the halls, through the gym, and around the building, before Alexander hopped into a broom closet.

He knew what he did was childish and stupid, but Jefferson beat up Laurens, and tried to hit on Eliza. He could've killed Thomas for that. The only problem was that this time he didn't count on Jefferson's entourage. He stepped out of the closet and was immediately faced by an old friend.

"Well, if it isn't Aaron Burr, Sir."

"Shut up Hamilton." Aaron snapped at him.

"Ok I'll just be leaving then." He tried to walk away, then saw James Madison on the other side of the hall.

"Ugh, I really didn't want detention today." Alexander said before socking Aaron in the face and running to his next class.

After school. In the principal's office.

"Mr. Washington, this is the second time this week we've had you in here." The man said. "Mr. Seabury had a young man complain to him about being punched by that boy!"

Seabury sat there with a smug look on his face. Mr. Jefferson and Mr. Burr had been great friends with him for years, no wonder he always favored their kids.
Alexander just that there this time, knowing he was guilty.

"Alright, what actually happened?" Washington asked after detention. They were walking up to the car.

"This one might have been a little bit on me." Alexander kept his head low, refusing to make eye contact. "I got mad at Jefferson and so I pranked him."

"So why did you punch Aaron Burr?"

"He and Jefferson are tight buds. He came after me along with James Madison, and I didn't want to get beat up." Alexander explained. "So I punched him and ran."

"Uhhh," Washington sighed. "I thought these petty fights were over."

"He started it. I'm not just gonna let him terrorize my friends and get away with it because of Seabury!" Alex got mad after remembering what happened a few days ago.

"I know, and I'm sorry. But I can't do anything about Mr. Seabury. He's a suck up and Principal King won't change his mind about him." Washington ranted. "I wish Thomas got disciplined, but I can't change the fact that he didn't. Now what was the prank?"

"I soaked his pants with a water balloon at lunch so everyone would be there to see it."

Washington let out a small laugh. "That's wrong, funny, but wrong."

When they arrived home, Alexander received a text from Eliza.

Eliza💗: Oh my gosh, what happened today?
Alexander: I may have over stepped my boundaries a little.
Eliza💗: Did you get caught?
Alexander: Do you know Mr. Seabury?
Eliza💗:I'm sorry, I'm assuming you got detention then.
Alexander: yep.
Eliza💗: is there a way I could cheer you up?
Alexander: well, you could come over and watch that movie I keep telling you about.
Eliza💗: no, I said a don't like scary and suspenseful movies.
Alexander: than I will be sad and lonely for the rest of my days.
Eliza💗: ugh. Fine, but only if I can invite my sis'.
Alexander: done, 7:00, don't be late.

Since they had started dating, Alexander had been trying to get Eliza to watch a scary movie called, The Village. (which is actually a real movie and is great. If you can you should watch it.)

"Lafayette?" Alexander shouted downstairs. "She's finally doing it tonight."

"Say no more mon amie. I can get everything ready in five minutes." Came the reply.

"Hey Laurens." Alexander said walking into the living room. He saw Laurens on the couch doodling. "How are you with scary movies?"

"Why?"

"We're watching one tonight with the Schuylers. Do you want to come?"

Laurens really didn't care for scary movies, but he wanted to see Peggy again. Because last time he tried to talk to her went 'so well'.

He nodded his head in agreement and went back to drawing.

That night the Schuylers arrived. They turned on the movie and Eliza jumped about seven times during the first few minutes. Alexander and Lafayette had already seen it before, but for the rest of them, this was the first time experience.
Whenever Eliza got too scared, Alexander would wrap his arms around her. She blushed every time he did.
Once the movie was over, Alexander and Eliza went out on the patio while everyone else talked inside about the film.
He held her close to him, making sure she was still comfortable. He looked into her beautiful dark brown eyes and smiled. He loved her more than anything else in the world, and he wanted to marry her someday.

"Aren't you cold?" Alexander asked her. She wasn't even wearing a jacket.

"Nope. I have your love to keep me warm." She smiled. (Song reference.)

"Here, at least take my jacket." Alexander was wearing a long sleeved shirt underneath his jacket. Eliza was just wearing a simple t-shirt. He wrapped his jacket around her shoulders and began to hold her again. They swayed back and forth, holding each other tight in the cool autumn night. She was starting to get cold, but she wanted Alexander to finish the night off with a kiss. He just stood there swaying back and forth, like a little puppy not sure of what to do next. After a while Eliza gave up and was about to go inside.
Then Alexander leaned up close, and kissed her on her sweet rosy lips.

A/N: that last part was actually based off of my parents first kiss. I always thought it was a funny, but sweet story, so I added it to the chapter for a nice ending.
