A/N: I'M SO SORRY LAURENS, BUT IT WAS EITHER THIS OR DEATH! Dang, I wrote two chapters in one day. Yay me! Oh, and who is ready for a blast from the past you most likely forgot about?

Laurens tried to get free. For two whole days he had his arms tied behind his back, and his legs bound as well. His body was tied to a chair as he tried fidgeting to get free. He didn't know where he was. He just remembered walking home from school, going in the house and heading straight into the kitchen. Putting his dead phone on the table, then turning for the stairs. Until the doorbell rang. Laurens went to answer it and was greeted by a face he was promised he would never have to see again. Then everything from then on happened so fast. Henry grabbed him and pulled him into his truck  before binding his wrists with duct tape, along with an extra piece for his mouth. Then not being able to see. Now he was in..... Well, he didn't know. Henry walked into the room and Laurens was furious.

"Let me go you son of a..."

"Watch your mouth! I'm still your father."

"Untie me!"

"Or what? You'll cry?" Henry mocked him.

"I'll scream!"

"Then I'll gag you. Pick your poison Jacky!" He patted him on the face.

"Don't call me that!"

"Don't speak back to me!" Henry cocked his fist, but didn't hit him.

When Laurens was little, he convinced himself that his father abused him because he was always drunk, and even though that didn't help, he knew it wasn't the case anymore.

"Why couldn't you just let me be happy for once in my life?"

"Because we're opposites. It came down to your happy ending or mine. And I'm sorry, but you already took too much from me." Henry said.

"You could've just run. Why did you kidnap me?" John asked.

"It's not kidnapping if it's your own son."

"It is kidnapping if you just broke out of prison and I'm tied to a chair." Laurens snapped at him. "And I'm not your son."

"You are now." Henry smirked as he brushed his hand across the boy's face.

"What are you going to do with me?" Laurens questioned.

"Whatever I want. You're mine now!"

Washington received a visit from a police officer. He invited him inside to talk.

"Mr. Washington? May I have a word with you?" The young man asked. He didn't look that old. About 18 if even that.

"Of course Sir." Washington answered, hoping for an update about his adopted son.

"Oh please Mr. Washington, just call me Will. No need for formalities." The young man said.
A/N: starting to piece it together?

"Oh, my bad." Washington laughed, trying to not be anxious.

"We... I'm really sorry..... I'm afraid." He couldn't come up with the words. "Street cameras confirm John Laurens was abducted by Henry Laurens." Will put his head down.

"Ok, thank you for letting me know. Can I get you anything?" Washington asked, still trying to be polite.

"Umm... if you don't mind, our coffee machine did break down today...."

"Say no more." Washington jumped up and went into the kitchen.

Alexander had once again been eavesdropping on the conversation, he came downstairs into Washington's study where the young cadet was sitting.
