A/N: I'm so so sorry, but on my trip that I said I would write on, we started playing Hamilton songs and I couldn't resist. Sorry!

Most of the students that attend Lin Manuel Miranda High will end up going to college. About 10% will go to Harvard or Yail, about 10% will go to other schools, about 5% won't go to college, and about 75% will try and make it to King's college. Alexander Hamilton, Marie‑Joseph Paul Yves Roch Gilbert du Motier de La Fayette, Marquis de Lafayette, and the Schuyler sisters had already decided to join that 75%, but Laurens never even dreamed he'd be able to go to a college. What will he do now?

"Well obviously you're going to King's. But what major?" Peggy asked.

"Obviously?"

"You're going with your girlfriend, right?"

"Of course, I'm just messing with you." Laurens smiled.

"Ok, what major?" Peggy smirked.

"Well, there's not too much I'm good at." Laurens sighed.

"You could easily major in art. You could probably even get a scholarship." Peggy reminded him.

"The only thing is, I may be good enough to go to college, but what if I'm not good enough to make a living off of art?" Laurens sighed.

"I think you're good enough. Imagine what you could do if you actually had a lesson." She smirked.

"What are you going into?" Laurens asked.

"I want to be a marine biologist. Or a vet. I just want to help animals." Peggy said. "But I would love to help the ocean life if possible."

"What about the other's?"

"Alexander is going into Law, Eliza is going into nursing, and I think Lafayette wants a business major." Peggy explained.

"What about Angelique? Isn't she going to school here?"

"Psychology."

"So it's just me." John sighed.

"You've never thought about it?" Peggy questioned.

"Are you kidding? I never even thought I would go to college."

"Did you think that you could get a scholarship?"

"Even if I got a full scholarship, I wouldn't be able to pay for the books or for food or a place to live. I gave up on a better future until I met the Washingtons." Laurens explained.

"Well, I think you should major in art or maybe something similar. If you don't end up being an artist, your girlfriend will still love you." Peggy kissed his cheek. "Not that there is a doubt in my mind that you wouldn't be a good artist."

"Ok, I'll apply for King's." He smiled.

It was now the last week of April. Everyone was eagerly waiting to see if they got into King's college. (I'm not going to graduate until 2022, so if the timing is wrong I'm sorry.)
Then the letters started coming.

"Alexander!" Washington called.

"Is it here?" Alex called back.

"Come see for yourself!"

Alexander ran downstairs and into the living room.
"I've been excepted, and I got a scholarship."

"Hey good job. Now I only have to pay for books and other things." Washington joked.

"And whatever I need for the dorm room." Alexander added.

"Yes yes. That would be other things." Washington rolled his eyes.
