Alexander jumped into his car and turned on the ac. Even though it was August and was supposed to start cooling down, it was still decently warm outside.

Lafayette and Laurens came out right after him. Lafayette jumped in the passenger seat and Laurens in the back.

When they got to the theater, they saw that the Schuyler sisters had already arrived.

"Hi Alexander." Angelica said as he got out of the car. "I think you're a great guy, but if you ever hurt Eliza? I will tear you apart."

Alexander felt a shiver go down his spine. "Yeah, got it."

"Oh don't scare him away." Eliza joked, running up to Alex as he kissed her cheek. "Hey Laf."

"Bonjour mesdames." Lafayette laughed knowing they probably didn't get that last part. He said it every time he saw them, hopefully they googled by now.

"Hey," A girl in a cute, yellow, casual sundress said as she ran up. "What'd I miss?"

"Nothing much Peggy. Just the beginning statement for my funeral." Alex chuckled.

Laurens finally got out of the car a few moments later.

"Who's the new guy?" Peggy asked.

"This is Laurens. He's ahh." Alexander trailed off trying to find words. "A friend." Well at least it's honest. Honest-ish.

Laurens looked over at Peggy. His cheeks turned red and a small smile formed on his face. A real smile, not the fake little smile he had always given before. It felt to him as time stopped for a moment. As if nothing around him was existing other then him and her.

"Hi, I'm Peggy." She began. "Nice to meet you. This is Eliza. And this is Angelica."

He flashed them a smile before turning back and looking at Peggy.

"Alright, we should probably head in if we're going to buy some snacks. Which we are so, let's go." Alexander broke the silence.

They started walking in. The conversation boomed again and Alexander grabbed Laurens' arm and they fell behind. Laurens wasn't quite sure what was happening.

"Have you met her before?" He asked.

Laurens had a confused look on his face.

"Peggy, have to met her at school?" Alexander continued.

Laurens shook his head.

"So it was love at first sight?" Alex slightly laughed.

Laurens stopped walking and stared at him. Was it that obvious?

"Relax, I'm sure no one else knows." Alexander tried to reassure him.

Eliza began to trail behind too. She was suddenly back with them within a few moments.

"So, how long has he liked Peggy?" She asked.

Laurens sighed. This was pretty awkward. Nothing he could do to change their minds now. He was scared the whole group knew.

"It's ok. If she'd known you liked her, she would've told me as soon as you started walking behind us." Eliza said a little guilty.

John let out another sigh, this one relieved thankfully. Laurens jumped up and started picking up the pace as they reached the door. Eliza and Alexander stayed outside.

"He doesn't talk much, does he?" Eliza questioned.

"No not really." Alexander responded. Trying to be honest, but not wanting to blow Laurens' shot with Peggy. This was after all her sister he was talking to.

"It's ok, Peggy likes to be the one to talk anyway." She said slightly concerned. "At least I think so."

They both walked in and made their way to the concessions. After buying a few things, the group made their way to the theater.

"Hey, Lafayette. Come sit next to me." Eliza joked while they were taking their seats. "And Angelica, why don't you sit on the end on the other side of Alex?"

"Fine, but only to keep my eye on this one." Angelica giggled.

Soon the only available seat left for Laurens was next to Peggy. Coincidence? I think not.

Throughout the movie, Peggy would lean over and whisper something to Laurens about the film. He didn't answer, but nodded or shook his head and occasionally laughed. All depending on what she had said to him.

After the movie ended, they all went out for lunch at a pizza parlor.

"So Peggy, how did you like the movie?" Eliza asked subtly.

"It was good, I really liked how they did the ending." Peggy replied.

Alexander sat next to Laurens this time. Just to check and see how things went. "Did she talk to you at all?"

Laurens almost died laughing. She didn't stop talking throughout the whole movie, but he enjoyed the conversation... or her conversation.

"Wow, that bad?" Alex cracked a smile.

"It was nice." Laurens spoke up.

"That's great." Alexander responded. "That's great."

A/N: Sorry this chapter is pretty short, I wanted Laurens and Peggy to meet before the school week started. Also, I'm not referring to any movie in this scenario, so it's totally random.
