Laurens woke up that morning to a brand new school uniform hanging up in his closet.

The dreaded Monday had sadly arrived and everyone was getting ready for school.

Once Alexander got there, he immediately noticed something that wasn't there last week.

"Thomas Jefferson."

"Good to see you too Hamilton." Thomas said in a sarcastic tone. "Miss me?"

"I thought your family was going to be in Virginia for another week." Alex replied unhappy.

"We saw the whole family and everyone needed to get back to work early. So here I am." Thomas glared at him.

Alexander and Thomas had been enemy's since the day they met. They were just too different and yet, couldn't be more alike. They hated each other. Jefferson was also close buds with Aaron Burr. Thomas was the one who turned Aaron against Hamilton.
Just then, the bell rang and everyone ran in to their classes.

"See you in American Government." Jefferson teased before heading to his first class.
Alexander shrugged and made his way to US History.

"Laf." Alex said walking in. "You'll never believe who decided to show up today."

"Who?"

"Thomas."

"Wait, Thomas Jefferson?" Lafayette was just as confused as Alexander was when he first saw him. "But he never comes back early."

"He knew. He knew I was enjoying life. He's always made it his first priority to hate me." Alexander ranted. "Even if it means coming home from visiting his family early."

Laurens sat there behind Lafayette and at an angle from Alexander. He was confused.

"Thomas Jefferson is bad news." Alexander began, realizing the look on the confused boy's face. "Yeah, he's great pals with Aaron Burr. And he also hates me more than anything in this world."

Laurens and Lafayette both started to chuckle. 'I mean, can he really be that bad?' John thought.
Just then, as if comedically timed, Thomas walked into the classroom.

"You have got to be kidding me!" Alexander shrugged.

"Oh, I guess I forgot to mention. We are in the same US History class as well." Jefferson said with a smug look on his face.

As soon as he sat down, Washington came in and the class began.

Lunch.

Alexander and Lafayette had talked Laurens into eating lunch in the cafeteria with them today. They all went over to their table and we're greeted by the Schuyler sisters.

"Hello beautiful." Alex went over and kissed Eliza on the check. "How has your day been?"

"Well, I have chemistry with Jefferson today, so not that great." She sighed.

Jefferson was also in love with Eliza, one of the other reasons Alexander couldn't stand him. But luckily, Alex got the girl.

"I'm sure I could make it up to you by taking you to the dance next month." Alexander tried to charm her.

"I don't know, I feel like I need dates for my sisters too. I mean I can't go without them," Eliza joked. "and I would hate for them to have to stay home by themselves. Angelica has been kinda lonely since she started college. And Peggy, she has been heartbroken since her last break up."
