A/N: YAYAYAY. THE CHILD IS SAFE FROM HIS PSYCHO OF A FATHER. YAYAYAYAY!!! He still gonna have guilt dough. PS, yes I meant to say dough.

Laurens dropped the gun in his hands and fell to the floor. He didn't move for a second, but then he finally pulled the gag out of his mouth and started hyperventilating.

"I-is he-he.... d-dead?" Laurens stuttered out, terrified.

Alexander went over to the body and checked for a pulse. It was weak and fading fast, but it was still there.

"No, he's alive. You alright?" Hamilton walked toward him.

"I-I had t-to. He-he was t-trying to k-k-kill you." Tears ran down Laurens' face at what he had just done.

Alexander went over by him. He knew Laurens wouldn't answer him, so he made sure himself that John didn't have any major injuries. He was ok-ish. Alexander walked over and sat down by him. He hugged him as tight as he could.

"We were scared he killed you or was planning to leave the country." Alexander stated.

"He s-said he wouldn't k-kill me, but he threatened t-to slit my throat. I-I had to shoot him. H-He would've k-killed you." Laurens replied. Trying to convince himself more then Alexander.

"Are you ok? You don't seem hurt but..."

"I'm fine. I shot him."

"It's gonna be ok. I'm sure if we explain to the police what happened that they won't..." Alexander began.

"It's n-not that. I'm no b-better then h-he is." Laurens whimpered.

The police arrived a few seconds later. Lafayette must've called them when I didnt answer my phone. Alexander thought.

"We received an unknown call from a young man saying that there was possibly a murder here?" A man asked. "Could you maybe tell us what happened?" He walked over to the two boys sitting on the ground.

"I-I d-did it." Laurens mumbled. "If he dies. I s-shot him."

"Sir, it's not what it sounds like." Alexander protested. "His father was trying to kill me, it was only self defense!"

"Wait... if that man was your father... are you John Laurens?"

Laurens nodded his head. The policeman helped him to his feet and brought him and Alexander downstairs where an ambulance was waiting.
Laurens was sitting in the back of an ambulance with a shock blanket. (I don't know if that's actually what it's called, sorry) Alexander sat next to him, trying to calm him down. He too had a blanket, but he was more concerned about Laurens then the fact that Henry almost just killed him.
Lafayette, Will, Eliza, and Peggy finally made their way over.

"Laurens?" Peggy cried. She ran over and hugged him. She sat in the ambulance on the other side of him and wrapped her arms around his body. "Laurens."

"Peggy?" He finally broke away from the fear that he might have killed his father. For a moment at least.

"Are you ok, are you hurt?" She asked, rubbing her hand through his messy, unkempt hair.

"I don't know anymore." Laurens admitted.

Peggy decided to change the subject. "While you were gone, James Madison was a jerk. So I may have punched him in the face to defend your honor." She laughed.

"What?"

"Which one of you is John Laurens?" Another police officer came over. She had a notepad in her hand.

They all pointed to Laurens in unison.

"Is there anyone I can call to let them know you're alright?"
