Heyo guys, what's up.
I'm gonna keep this intro short and sweet today, considering theres only one thing I need to adress, a question to you guys.
PLEASE ANSWER THE QUESTION
Aight now the question: In upcoming chapters, Sophie will be...incapacitated.
She wont be able to tell the story for a bit.
I cant say more without giving spoilers, but...yeah.
So, how would you guys feel about a POV change? From Sophie's POV to Fitz's?
Itll only be for a few chapters, but if I do switch you'll be able to see more of the narrative.
Ok, that's it. Back to the story. As always, Enjoy!

“Hey Sophie,” She said as she opened a drawer and put the book inside of it. Elwin looked up from his mixture and set down his bowl. He grabbed a few vials from the nearby shelf before heading to the door Sophie had just come through. He grinned and nodded at Sophie as he passed and it helped calm some of the nerves that were welling in Sophie’s chest. She didn’t know why she felt so tense, there was certainly no reason for it, but she fought the urge to pluck out an eyelash as she walked up to the desk.
“Elwin said you wanted to talk to me?”
Livvy just smiled, “Yeah, there is something I need to tell, or rather give you. But first, relax, would you? It’s not like I’m about to say something earth-shattering.” She let out a slight chuckle. “No, it’s nothing like that.”
Sophie didn’t realize she’d been holding her breath until she let it out, “Good.”
“I just wanted to let you know, I was cleaning up the apartment the other day, because apparently someone neglects to do that himself. And I found this,” Livvy pulled open the top drawer of her desk and grabbed out a maroon box tied with silver ribbon. “There was one day, while your sister was staying in Atlantis, that she somehow talked me into taking her to one of the shops that were near the apartment. She picked this out for you and told me to give it to you ‘When it seems like there’s no more hope’. I would have given it to you when you first arrived with Tam, but I kind of had forgotten about it before I was cleaning the other day. So, I decided it would be best to give it to you now,” she said while sliding the box across the desk to Sophie. “That way you can open it when you think you need to.” Sophie picked up the box and ran her finger along the velvet exterior.
“Thank you,” she said while slipping the box into her cape pocket.
Livvy smiled, “No problem. Besides, it’s not from me. Your sister is the one you should be thanking.”
“I wish I could.” Livvy didn’t seem to know how to respond to Sophie’s reply. So Sophie just smiled and headed for the door. “Thanks again Livvy. I’ll see you around.”
“See you later. Oh, and Sophie?” Sophie stopped mid step out the door. “Take care. Ok?” Sophie tried not to appear taken aback by the remark as she nodded and exited the room, shutting the door behind her. On her way out of the Healing Center she passed by Tam and Elwin. Tam was asleep on the cot, and he looked peaceful. The only thing that made Sophie slightly nervous was the Vitaem in his mouth. Elwin was sitting in a chair nearby the cot scribbling something into a folder. He sighed and set the pen he had been using down, then noticed Sophie was in the room. He turned towards her and grinned.
“Hey Sophie.”
“Hi,” she smiled back, trying not to let her eyes fix on the Vitaem again. Elwin followed her gaze and his grin fell when he realized what she was looking at.
“He’s fine, Sophie. He just has the Vitaem as an extra precaution. He worked himself a lot harder today than he has in a long time. I wanted to make sure he could get some rest without any risk.” Sophie nodded back. She forced herself to look away from the Vitaem and made her way to the door.
“See you later,” She said to Elwin as she stepped into the doorway. Elwin simply smiled at her and opened the file again, continuing to scribble down some notes with his pen. She shut the door behind her and set off towards the exit, pulling the box Livvy gave her out of her pocket. She fiddled with the silver ribbon as she walked, and smiled to herself. Letting her imagination run wild as to what her sister had gotten for her, and why she was only allowed to open it ‘When it seems like there’s no more hope.’
