Happy Thanksgiving to my American and Canadian peeps (if I have any readers in Canada)! I hope you guys enjoy your week! Anyway...I dont have anything else rly to say. So, as always, Enjoy!

He stayed seated for a second, his expression showing that he was deciding how much he could handle, then he took her hand and rose up to his feet. He still swayed a bit, and had to lean on Sophie to keep his balance. In good news he wasn’t shaking anymore, and he seemed more steady. She walked with him around the room for a bit, just so he could regain his center of gravity.
"I’m good." He promised, still wobbling a bit. She may have been concerned, but he had such a confident smile and determined look in his eyes she was willing to let it slide. She led him outside of the telepathy room and realized how dark it was in there when the sunlight started to sting her corneas. The good news was the sun meant it was still day time. In worse news, the sun was barely peeking over the west horizon, making her wonder how long they had been sleeping. They made their way to the Leapmaster, slower than usual as to not push Fitz too hard. She let him set the pace and just went with it. Once they *finally* made it to the Leapmaster Fitz gave the command and the Everglen crystal dropped down, casting a ray of light onto the floor. They exchanged a glance and stepped into the light. Sophie wrapped a bit extra of her consciousness around him just to make sure he didn’t fade during the leap, then let the light whisk them away to Everglen.
Biana was waiting in the front yard, just like she said she would, and as soon as they glittered onto the property Sophie saw her quickly making her way towards them.
"Thanks." Biana said after Sophie had handed him off. "For taking care of this one." Fitz’s eyeroll should have gone in the history books, and Sophie couldn’t hold back her laugh.
"No problem." She smiled.
"What was wrong?" Biana asked, glancing between the other two for an answer.
"We didn’t have Elwin check, but from what I could tell my best guess is Exhaustion and Dehydration."
You can tell her about the sparring match if you want. She transmitted to Fitz. He answered with a subtle nod.
"Make sure he takes it easy and drinks lots of water. I made him promise that he would call Elwin is he wasn’t feeling well by tomorrow, so if you could help hold him to that it’d be great."
"Can do." Biana answered. Fitz let go of his sister and went over to hug Sophie, she gladly returned the embrace.
"Rest, okay?" She asked quietly enough so that only he would hear her.
"Fine." He agreed, but she could tell he didn’t like the idea. She laughed and pulled away, taking a step back to leave Fitz with his sister.
"See you guys around." She smiled and dug her home crystal out from her many necklaces.
"See you tomorrow! That’s still happening right?" Biana responded, and Sophie felt her cheeks get a million times darker. She had completely forgotten about how her friends were all coming to help out at Everglen while Grady and Edaline were gone.
"Yup, it’s still happening." She held her crystal up to the light and waved goodbye as se stepped in it’s path, letting herself to be swept back home by the warmth.
