Remember how last week I gave y'all a longer chapter? Well this ones a bit shorter. I'm sorry. Please dont kill me. It was just a good cut off and I dont rly have time to search for a better one right now. I have a lot of stuff going on this week. My town has a parade on Saturday, and I'm marching with my band in that as well as selling some of my art at a bizzar that same day. So yeah, schoolwork on top of making the art to sell on Saturday, I'm kinda busy. Anyways, as always, Enjoy

He stayed seated for a second, his expression showing that he was deciding how much he could handle, then he took her hand and rose up to his feet. He still swayed a bit, and had to lean on Sophie to keep his balance. In good news he wasn’t shaking anymore, and he seemed more steady. She walked with him around the room for a bit, just so he could regain his center of gravity.
"I’m good." He promised, still wobbling a bit. She may have been concerned, but he had such a confident smile and determined look in his eyes she was willing to let it slide. She led him outside of the telepathy room and realized how dark it was in there when the sunlight started to sting her corneas. The good news was the sun meant it was still day time. In worse news, the sun was barely peeking over the west horizon, making her wonder how long they had been sleeping. They made their way to the Leapmaster, slower than usual as to not push Fitz too hard. She let him set the pace and just went with it. Once they *finally* made it to the Leapmaster Fitz gave the command and the Everglen crystal dropped down, casting a ray of light onto the floor. They exchanged a glance and stepped into the light. Sophie wrapped a bit extra of her consciousness around him just to make sure he didn’t fade during the leap, then let the light whisk them away to Everglen.
