Determination fueled their sprints to the Healing Center and Elwin was waiting with his door open wide. He whisked them inside causing Bullhorn to scream his head off, definitely not helping anyone calm down. Elwin told the girls to lay Tam in the cot Sophie stayed in while she was healing from the Shadow Flux attack. Then he pushed them behind him and set to work. He yelled at the girls to leave but Linh refused. Sophie knew Elwin was right so she pulled Linh away from Tam's cot and wrapped an arm around her in an attempt to comfort her heartbroken friend.
"Let's go tell the others and let Elwin do his thing." She whispered, but Linh still didn't look convinced. "I have been too close so many times, and Elwin always brought me back. Tam is the best place he can be, we should get out of the way." After four endless seconds, Linh slowly nodded and they walked out of the Healing Center. As they shuffled out the door something horrifying caught Sophie's eye. It was Bullhorn jumping onto Tam's cot, and curling up at his feet.
