Story:

Yoongi and Hoseok are both 7

Hoseok's POV

"Yoonie, hurry up, we're gonna miss the bus!" I call to my best friend, grabbing his hand and pulling him towards the bus stop. There's lots of kids waiting to get on, and we make a beeline for seats somewhere in the middle once we manage to.

Today's the day Yoongi's coming to my house for a sleepover. I'm gonna show him my new treehouse that my Appa just finished building for me, and we're gonna watch a movie before bed, I hope he likes it. Yoongi's my bestest friend in the whole world, and I don't like seeing him sad.

The bus arrives just down the street from my house and we get off, being careful not to bump into anyone. Appa says we have to always look around us when we're out so we don't get hurt.

I knock on the door, still holding Yoongi's hand, and wait for someone to open it. Dad does, and he smiles at both of us, those little holes (I think they're called 'dimples' or something) on the side of his face appearing. "Aigoo, you're both so cute~"

We go inside and take off our shoes and coats, putting them by the door. We keep our backpacks with us though, until Dad tells us to put them in my room so they're safe. Appa comes out of the kitchen after that, running his hand through his fluffy brown hair.

I grin at him. "Can we go play in the treehouse, Appa?"

"Go on then," he nods to us. "But be careful, okay? And come in when I call you for dinner."

"Yoonie, come look at the treehouse!" I giggle, and Yoongi smiles at me. We run outside, still holding hands, and I help him up the little ladder to my new playplace.

"Wow, your treehouse is so nice, Hoseokie-hyung!" he gasps, looking around. There's cushions and blankets on the floor so we can be comfy, and a box in the corner, and also there's a table with paper and pencils so we can do drawings.

"Look, I can be a' adult!" I announce proudly, opening the box and taking out a smart blue jacket, which I put on. "It was Appa's but then he helped me make it smaller."

My best friend sits down, pouting sadly. He wants to dress up, I can tell, but he's scared to ask in case I say he can't.

"You can wear this one!" I tell him, helping him put on a giant red jacket. The sleeves cover his arms so I roll them up. "Gosh, Yoonie's so handsome in Daddy's old jacket!"

We play dress-up for a while, before I can hear Appa shouting to us. We quickly tidy everything up and run inside, washing our hands before taking a seat at the table.

"Yoongi," Appa says, not looking sure. "I made lamb skewers for dinner, is that okay?"

"Y-Yeah, Mr. Kim," my best friend mumbles, his face turning red. "Th-Thank you."

"Yoonie, you look like a tomato!" I laugh at him, and he laughs back.

We eat dinner and talk and laugh, and I manage to get Dad to let us back outside for a bit longer. When it gets dark, we come back inside and sit down to watch Despicable Me, and soon enough, it's getting late.

"Boys," Dad comes to turn off the TV. "Bedtime now, okay? I'll make sure you guys have everything you need, then you can go."

We both change into our pyjamas and sit under the blanket on my bed, telling stories about school and talking about movies and cartoons and our favourite colours and other stuff, before Dad comes to say goodnight to us. He leaves some juice boxes and snacks on the dresser in case we get hungry in the night, then turns off the light and shuts the door (but I turn on the nightlight to protect me and my favouritest person in the world from any monsters that might be hiding in the dark).

I'm almost asleep when I hear Yoongi say something. "Huh?"

"I'm cold," he repeats, pouting at me.

"Do you wanna cuddle?" I offer, shuffling closer to him. He nods, and I wrap my arms tightly around him. We're the same age, but he still feels so small.

"G'night, Hobi-hyung."

"Night-night, Yoonie."

*9 year time skip*

A rhythmic thumping sound echoes throughout the house.

"O-Oh, fuck, Jinnie, harder!"

"Will they just shut the fuck up?" I groan, covering my face with my pillow. "Some people need to sleep."

"I'm sure they'll stop soon," my boyfriend reassures, sighing against my shoulder. "They're old, they'll get tired soon enough."

"Whenever I think they're stopping, they just keep going." I grumble. "They've been at this for literally hours!"

"Try and think about something else then," Yoongi suggests, reaching to hold my hand. "Do you remember the first time I slept over?"

I nod. "You were cold, so we cuddled, right?"

"In this very spot. What about when I asked you out?"

"Right here, cuddling." I recall fondly. "But for the record, I asked you out."

"First kiss?"

"Here, during another one of our cuddle sessions."

"Mhm," he leans over and kisses me softly. "Everything important that happened, it happened right here, while we were cuddling."

I grin at him. "Yoonie,"

"What is it, Hoseokie-hyung?"

"I..." my face turns red. "I think I love you."

He looks taken aback for a moment, but his gummy smile soon returns. "I think I love you too."

Another one for the book of special moments that happened while we were cuddling.
